"I'm actually still a student here about to finish in December 2017 and please here me out before you decide to go here. I first off want to say this was not my first choice I wanted to attend palmetto instead nicer campus very helpful staff however it is a night school and you are limited with the classes you can take. When I signed up for this school in homestead I was immediately turned off, the staff was TERRIBLE! Wrost staff I ever dealt with in my life they were argumentative and I'm a very calm nice person. They don't even know what classes to register you for so that can mess up your graduation rate be sure to show up with a school transcript from the school you are coming from. Then when you pay the 40$ fee you then gain access to teachers who are ignorant, uneducated, very dumb and absolutely don't care about your grades or the hours you need to get credit for the classes. the teachers literally will not teach you like a regular traditional high school and there is a number of reasons why. 1 they don't have the resources it's old textbooks and a couple out dated computers. 2 they are lazy and don't even try and 3 the majority of kids there can't learn at a normal level and don't want to its why they are there. The students there are a TERRIBLE influence 90% of them smoke weed across from the school and about 45% of them are involved in gang violence. They have very few electives which you need to graduate. Keep in mind you still need to pass EOC, FSA, ACT in oder to graduate or attend college and don't rule it out because it's not a solution now. They don't have the time nor resources to prepare you for any of it. And if you like food they don't have lunch for lunch break people usually walk to a nearby gas station and get ripped off because it's homestead. If you are thinking of transferring from a regular high school DONT! it is totally not worth it trust me I been here for 3 semesters now so this is as good advice as your gonna get it would be like giving up a Mercedes for Toyota. NOTHING WORTH HAVING IS EASY. Now if you been kicked out of high school I don't see what other choice you have just straighten up your act and stop horsing around and grow up because you will pay the price if you don't. And don't try and finish early you will regret it. I hope my experienced advice was helpful make the right decision and have a good day."
