"Had high hopes for this shop. Planned to do a dive and ran into an emergency. Rather than working with us, they rudely informed us there was nothing that could be done. I understand this is a business and there is overhead to get the boat out, but seriously? Highly recommend you avoid. Edit to answer the owner: Wow, responses like the below comment from the owner no less will definitely encourage me to take my business elsewhere. Never dealt with such abysmal customer service."

"Did the 9:30AM Lemon Shark specialty charter on March 5th that I booked with Pura Vida Divers but was in collaboration with Jupiter Dive Center (their boat and most of their staff). Dive with my own gears. Rick from Pura Vida was my divemaster and diving buddy, very kind and solicitous. Dive briefings from Phil were perfect….clear and precise with a few anecdotes. He really knows the site we’re diving! Two great dives even if the visibility was only around 30~40 feet and there was very few sharks. It was an advanced dive and they won’t “hold you by the hand” so if you’re not that comfortable, do a regular open dive charter. Boat was clean, comfortable and very well adapted, including two “open ladders” that I always appreciate. There was two bin on the dock to rinse our gear, one mixed with dry suit soap and the other one with fresh water to rince. Very nice perks for travellers like me. Jupiter Diver Center usually give your Nitrox tanks in their shop where they confirm the gaz mix in front of you, but since we booked with Pura Vida, all the thanks were already on the boat. Lucky for us one kind diver had his own tester and lend it to all on us….so only improvement to suggest, get a Nitrox analyzer on board since it’s mandatory that each diver confirm his own gaz mix!"
