"All my three kids go to Pine Crest. Moving down from New England, we needed a top notch school. College matriculation rate— the best in the region. And the kids, the campus, and the admins and staff! And they Fine Arts programs! Sports! Yes it’s not a very big school, and I don’t think they offer sports scholarship just to get athletes here, like SA, AH do. Pine Crest athletes have to meet the SAME academic requirements, just like anyone else( who are likely very devoted to other time-consuming extracurriculars, so that’s fair!) so there won’t be a STAR athlete or a future pop star hanging around with “c” or “f” or “I” here in PC. AG moved to a different school For high school, due to the high academic demands in PCFL. Many people try to send their kids to PC. I have seen the stressed parents and applicants. I also see kids got accepted and later transferred to other schools after a few years( rare but not unheared of) I will say, if you want your kids to develop on all fronts, ESP. In academics, and both you and you kids are willing to commit to their education, PC is the school to go, and it’s worth the multiple applications( it may take you more than one attempt!)"
