"I called w a concern and was able to get a same day appointment. The lady i spoke with was super kind and understanding. I wish i could remember her name. They did not accept my insurance and was upfront about the cost of my visit, which I was prepared to do so. Stephanie, my mammogram tech, listened to my pain concerns and took the utmost care of me. Then she explained to me how to expect my results. I have been coming to the Woodlands for years and won't go anywhere else."
"Absolutely terrible. Not the place you want to go when you are frightened about the aspect of possibly having breast cancer. They just really do not have themselves together and can't seem to get a consistent story about what's going on what they need etc. Communication skills are simply awful not what you want when in a vulnerable place. I had to call my physician and ask for a referral to another facility even though it's probably going to push me a couple of weeks out of having the necessary treatment I need I just don't feel any confidence for this facility and I do not recommend."
"If there is anywhere else you can go to get your mammogram, please avoid these people. My wife had an appointment which we called twice to confirm (due to Covid and child care issues). They confirmed both times, once the day before. My wife shows up to this very important appointment and is told that despite being a follow-up exam she needs a new prescription. Something they would/could have told us the two times we called to confirm ... had they been competent. Pain, but no problem. OBGYN is right around the corner. Go get rx and return 15 minutes later than original appointment time. They advise all radiologist have gone home (before 4 pm) and we will have to reschedule. Reschedule a follow-up to check for cancer - unacceptable. Lazy, unprofessional, incompetent. Avoid if possible."
"They are not up front about the cost of your annual mammogram visits. If you indicate anything suspect (in my case, fibrous tissue previously tagged), they will code it fully as medical, and insurance won't cover any of it, resulting in a hefty bill >$500. They will also tell you that it is a matter of integrity that they code it as fully medical, not even the x-ray portion as part of your annual. They also asked me about my medical history out loud in the waiting room with other patients present. I became uncomfortable answering questions publicly and informed them that all of this information was already documented during my recent visit, which they confirmed."
