"Nestled in the lively Lincoln Mall area of South Beach, Chotu is a culinary gem that offers a vibrant slice of Indian street food culture. This quaint eatery captures the essence of bustling Indian markets, serving up an array of dishes that transport you straight to the streets of India, yet wonderfully reminiscent of the diverse food scene in the US. Upon entering Chotu ordering area we were immediately enveloped by the energetic music and excellent vibes, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The restauambiance, with its casual yet inviting decor, creates the perfect backdrop for indulging in some of the most delightful street food offerings. The star of our meal was undoubtedly the Thali, a beautifully assembled platter that showcases the variety and complexity of Indian street food. Each element of the Thali was a burst of flavor, meticulously prepared to bring out the authentic taste of India. The vibrant colors and aromatic spices of the dishes made each bite a joy, truly reflecting the culinary richness of Indian cuisine. Chotu’s commitment to accommodating diverse dietary needs was evident in their willingness to customize vegan options, ensuring that every guest could enjoy the essence of Indian street food. This inclusivity is a testament to the restaurant’s dedication to providing a welcoming and satisfying experience for all. In addition to the Thali, our exploration of Chotu’s menu included savory chat and perfectly baked naan. The chat, with its harmonious blend of tangy, spicy, and sweet flavors, was a delightful representation of India’s famous street snacks. The naan, soft, fluffy, and lightly charred, was the ideal companion to the rich and flavorful dishes, allowing us to savor every last morsel. Chotu’s approach to Indian street food is both authentic and innovative, offering a culinary journey that is deeply rooted in tradition yet accessible to a global palette. The food, ambiance, and service all contribute to a dining experience that not only satisfies the craving for genuine Indian street food but also evokes the diverse and vibrant food culture found in the US. In conclusion, Chotu stands out as a must-visit destination for anyone craving an authentic Indian street food experience in South Beach. With its excellent food, particularly the Thali and accommodating vegan options, along with its vibrant atmosphere, Chotu captures the heart and soul of Indian cuisine while invoking fond memories of the eclectic food scene across the US."

"I ordered non veg thali and curries were bland. No salt and no spice at all. Butter and papad were good. There are other restaurants in the same building. Ambience is wonderful with variety of plants. Rest rooms can be used with passcode which will be provided during order."

"I absolutely stand by every positive review of this place. This is a hidden gem in Miami, some of the best Indian street food I’ve had outside of India. We had the paneer Kathi roll, samosa, chana masala combo, pav bhaji and Vada pav along with the mango lassi. It’s hard to pick favourites but the samosa and Vada pav definitely stood out because of their intense and uncompromising flavour. Overall, I think the best way to describe their approach to Indian food is those words: intense and uncompromising flavour. Where you have other Indian place skimping on the spice, they don’t hold back. Where you see other place make things sweet and bland, they don’t do that. They’re true to the authentic street food taste of the items they serve, at least the ones we tried. Pretty much went for seconds till we were all more than full. Planning to go there again before we leave Miami for our next destination."

"If you're from Bangladesh or Calcutta, India then I highly recommend coming to this place if you want to taste of home. My shada gf (white gf) found this place prior to our arrival in Miami. She was hesitant to try their food. She came out with a smile on her face and said that this was the best food ever. I couldn't agree more. We had the traditional bhel puri (Bengali style) 10/10 and the Chicken Tikka Kati (10/10). For dessert we had the Gulab Jamun!! (10/10) We will definitely have it again when we come back!"

"Fast friendly service. Excellent samosas!! I tend to stay away from fried food but this was a light fry. Didn't feel greasy at all. Glad I decided to try it. The sauces were awesome too. Will definitely try more next time."
