"Choosing Cutler Bay Senior High (and graduating from there) was the best decision I've ever made in my life. The school is fairly small in population. The aforementioned fact contributes to some major qualities that make CBSH amazing. Due to the size of the school, instruction becomes more individualistic and everyone of all learning types have an equal opportunity to thrive. The size also aids in maintaining the serene and loving environment that the school is notorious for. Everyone knows EVERYONE. You eventually form bonds that feel almost home-like with students, teachers, administration, custodial crew, and even security guards. With relationships so tight-knit, conflict rarely ever arises. (This is because we're unlike larger high schools - student voices are always heard and never ignored, and they indefinitely matter.) Being accepted into such a matchless educational institution is truly an honor and a privilege I appreciated endlessly. The school compels you to become a better you by challenging you with rigorous coursework and stellar academies to chose from. Honestly, anyone who will speak anything otherwise is (unfortunately) in Miami Southridge Senior High."
"Im so glad to finally be leaving this school. Been here since 6th grade ... Theres many fights, drugs etc. Not the best middle school. Some teachers are OK. But in the beginning of this year (2016) our criminal justice teacher resigned because of a family issue.. We just recently got a new teacher about a week ago.. Shes nice but doesn't have experience in criminal justice... She was a social studies teacher. Up until a week ago we had substitute after substitute. We did not learn much in there. I just don't understand putting a teacher in there when theres less than a month of school. The principal is a nice guy but cannot control the kids."
