"In summary: Art teach sucks. You don't learn anything. Just watch movies 24/7. Orch/Band teach 7/10 SPanish teaches lit. French teach lit. Chinese teach IDK. Dance+Drama teaches lit. Business keyboarding class thing is pretty good. Science: ortiz, sioli, garciga, and ersoff lit. Others are still good, just not as funny. MAth: Hoadley lit for geo, but treats student in normal classes normally, iprep isnt the best but it cool, morales strict, mostly learn for urself classes, mr j lit too, idk about the other 2 classes Language arts: MOst of them are really strict and give a lot of work. Some dont teach much tho. SOcial studies: They are lit but make you do work. Fun class nevertheless. Bathroom report: Go to the ones in math/science wings. THe other ones suck. Food report: Regular school food. Thanksgiving has good food. SOme food good, others overseasoned at times, some just repulsive. Safety report: Generally safe, built a long time ago, so thick walls, thick doors, thick glass, except some "glass" is plastic... Does not seem like it is going to fall down anytiem soon, unlike the FIU bridge incident. Also, they repaving the floor in the front so kids don't trip on it I think. CLeanliness: Lots of gum of the floor, quite a bit of trash thrown on the floor everyday, but the janitors do a really good job. O, but Mr. Hoadley's floor is disgusting. You see all the dirt. Idk how it is now but idt they clean the floor there for the whole year... (P.S. the grass is really dead, good job) The thing they are building in the front looks cool. Kind of small tho. Clubs: There are plenty of clubs to join, whether it be for sports, or something mroe intellectual like NJHS, math, spanish club, or Green Team and Mad scientists (which has sub cats for it). Math tutoring for anyone who needs it. It's free. Atmosphere: Some students annoying af, but what do you expect. Others cool beans. If you are smart, try not to talk to the stupider kids, they may drive you insane. Most of them you can live with actually. Sadly, I can't call ppl out in this review, or else I would. Overall: This school has room for improvement. They are probably underfunded though, so don't expect too much to change about it. (P.S. heard on the grapevine the band teacher changed. I asked and this is how ppl reacted to him. I do not have any personal experience with how he teaches/acts.) School proud of me? I kind of hated it but when you look at the facts, it is not the worst of the worst, but still bad. I only put 4 stars cuz i felt bad to be honest..."
"The 2 years I've been here, They weren't an A school. The teachers are nice and pretty good at least in the gifted program. But the people that go here, they act like 12th graders! Like, the bad group, you know. The arts (I guess its called that like drama, dance, and band/orchestra and art) are good but in dance 1 and drama 1, its filled with a lot of people there trying to get easy A's. I was there last year. This year I'm in orchestra. Ms.D(delinger) is a really nice teacher but do not annoy her or break rules. Which should apply to every class. I believe the rules need to be enforced more here. But, I have to live with it... (P.S., in language arts, you pretty much do busywork, not too much learning). Anyways that my opinion. I kinda wish I had bad- ish hearing so when people around me whisper some weird stuff, i can't hear it. Edit: someone probably hacked google maps and it was called f boi middle school when you looked it up during 12 est, October 11th, 2017. I'm not posting a pic of it though. Also, there's at least one fight everyday. But you'll never see everyday probably. I only saw it two or three times. Ms.D left. Not that many people like the new band teacher. They still haven't seperated beginning and advanced orchestra. I love Ms.Laughlin though. Mr.Hoadley is an easy 4.0 class if you are in geometry and try. But you have to be smart to be able to get into that class. Hi Ivy and Delaney. You wrote reviews too. Ms.Schaefer(the art teacher) goes by her mood for what she lets you do. If she's chill, you can listen to music, if she's in a bad mood, she will say to not do anything. Including whisper. Mr.Martin is lit as usual. Ms.Ortiz is as lit as ever. Just like the burning bush. Sorry all of y'all that don't understand. You know. You just hate some of the kids. But the school is decent, actually. Ms.Sioli is the HP loving teacher. Hp is harry potter. She's really lit. Anyways, can't wait to go to PHS to see mah friends there too. They teach Mandarin here but got rid of French 3, even though Ms.Mayock has a free period still. Maybe she didn't want to teach it... By the way, there was a graphics design teacher but she left after the 2014-2015 school year. If you think you know me, you're wrong. You may never fully understand me 'till you meet me and be close friends with me for a few years. You'll never know though, unless you do a lot of digging, ask too many questions, and wear me out on purpose. So bye. I forgot to mention. The clubs are awesome at this school. From sports to geeky and nerdy clubs. Yes, I know the difference between a geek and a nerd. Bye afain. Edit: BTW, some controversy around coach chandradouche whatever him name is. Watch out."
"I would not recommend this school because my daughter went there a year ago and the food is always burnt and its just crazy and like the bathroom is like dirty it has a strong odor and they let them kids spit in the soap . And my daughter is always getting bullied. The principal is racist and soo rude to my child and ms.kinchens is just very rude to my child she had my child come home crying. I would never everr let any of my kids go there. And yes my name is Nicole Martinez if your looking for me thank you and your welcome parents ."
"Its an okay school but theres some ghetto people who like starting fights. Unlike a review that another person said, the principal isn't racist (I've talked to him before and if he was I'd know, they're just pulling the race card and I myself am Hispanic).Teachers are nice(atleast the ones I know) and the environment is okay. There is a fighting problem though."
"I've been in this school for three years, and to be honest, it's not the best, but the experience was certainly enjoyable. The teachers were friendly and inviting, giving students the education and helping they needed, and the other staff were friendly as well. The finer art programs were also wonderful to participate in as well. This school also gave the students a friendly atmosphere to adhere to, as well many opportunities to learn more than what is on paper (clubs, tutoring, etc.). But in my opinion, the school needs to address the bullying problem a bit further, or even in a different light. Also, the school isn't the cleanest place around, but it's better than average. Other than that, Palmetto Middle School is an average school that you may want to look into."
