"Date night dinner!! We got a chance to experience their new outdoor dinning area (pictured). It was really lovely with the current temperature (low 60s). We did check out the inside and it was really cozy!! Definitely will try to score a reservation inside next time. Food: burrata 10/10, polenta (comforting) 9/10, lasagna 9/10, halibut,,. 8/10? It is not as tasty as the rest, but still good!! The problem is when you eat pieces without the sauce, then it feels like it’s missing something. But if you have it with the sauce, it will be tasty. Will be coming back!"

"Everything was good. Yes homemade pasta, but not the best I’ve had. Gnocchi was however the perfect texture but the sauce could’ve had more flavor. Cacio y pepe presentation wise was lacking and flavor was as expected. We sat outside, its simple and well spaced out with a nice sun roof. Cute italian spot but not my favorite."

"We made a reservation for 8:30 pm, and were sat down after 9:15 pm. We got no apology or compensation. It’s customary to at least serve something to drink to your guest who are forced to wait for over 45 minutes… After waiting for so long I was already prepared to hate the place, and the tricolor salad (basic lettuce/ cabbage salad) did not help my mood. Everything changed when we got our pasta. The mushroom pasta is one of the best pasta I had in my life. The rest of our dinner was a true joy. With such good food, they only need to improve their service and time management to become a really excellent choice."

"Its not bad. But it’s definitely not great. On the good side, the wine list is impressive and has some rare selection. Pasta was very well made and really creamy and cheese, but 20 something dollars for a portion, which could be on the kids menu? Buratta salad also quite good, but the presentation is like someone puked on your plate. However, it’s really overpriced. 4 slim slices of mortadella (barely 10 grams) for 10$? Its almost as price of gold! Gnocchi with shrimps were are disgrace to Italy. They were a combination of a dish that looked bad, and tasted even worse. If you want to charge 30$ for gnocchi - at least put some love and effort into dish presentation? Compared to other reviews, the service was actually nice and attentive."

"Macchialina in Miami stands as a bastion of rustic Italian cuisine, a place where the authenticity of the food speaks to the soul of Italy. The restaurant’s selection of wines is commendable, featuring a range that pairs beautifully with the robust flavors of their dishes. Our culinary journey began with the Cacio e Pepe, a classic dish that, while good, didn’t quite hit the mark for me, lacking a bit in the depth of flavor I anticipated. However, any initial disappointment was quickly forgotten once the truffle pasta with mushroom arrived. It was a dish that reveled in its own richness, offering an aromatic and flavor-packed experience that can only be described as truly amazing. But the highlight, without question, was the short rib lasagna. It was a revelation, redefining what this traditional dish could be. The layers of pasta, tender short rib, and cheese were expertly balanced, creating the best lasagna I’ve ever had. It’s a dish that demands attention and fully deserves its status as a must-try in Miami. The ambiance at Macchialina matches the excellence of its cuisine; cozy yet refined, it’s a venue that envelops you in warmth and comfort. It is, undeniably, a must-try destination and earns its place as one of the top restaurants in Miami for those in search of an authentic Italian experience."
