"One of the best no-frill Chinese restaurant I’ve had in SoFlo. Simple yet delicious dishes in a family-owned style restaurant setting. I love all the picture of the dishes on the wall as well as on the back of the menu. I would say it’s quite authentic especially on the roast duck and crispy pork. I could pin this place as my regular go-to restaurant if it was just closer to where I live. Cause it’s quite a drive coming from Boca. Will for sure return again on weekends."

"Based on reviews drove all the way there to try. Place is ok as for atmosphere. As for food it was just good, and nothing special. Had the picking duck and human beef. The Duck was not crispy and was just ok. Human was great. Both very oily. If this was a local joint maybe I would go back, but not worth a long drive."

"Not happy. The food was VERY poor for the price, the meat was very fatty. Their prices did not match what was listed on their on line menu. I offered to bring lunch for a visit to my daughter and her husband. I ordered the 3 combination of chicken, pork and duck. The listed price on the on-line menu was $19.95. When I got there I was charged $36!!! I also ordered the pork fried rice and they overcharged me for that also. The total bill was $50.18. When I asked about the price differences, they told me "the prices just changed". I showed them the on line prices on my phone. They didn't make any effort to correct it, or meet me halfway or anything. I was in a bind because I offered lunch for my family so I reluctantly made the purchase and left. When we opened the box to have our lunch, I was totally embarrassed. The "meat" was all skin and fat and bone. It looked like left over scraps after trimming a good piece of meat. It looked like the leftovers one would put into a soup or a stock pot. It was certainly NOT entree quality meat. And definitely not worth $36. I was totally humiliated to have served this to family members, and that's why I did not take any pics. Too embarrassing. Ok Hong's BBQ, you got me. But only once. One would think a good business model includes repeat customers, not one time only. It cost me $50 for some fatty meat and fried rice. Don't go here unless you are very wealthy. Back to Panda Xpress for me. There, for about $10, I can get enough for 2 meals and the meat is not fatty. Never again."

"Very quick and attentive service by server. Hong's specializes in Cantonese cuisine. I attempted to order something that was off-menu (instead of a beef chow fun, I wanted a bbq pork chow fun with added Chinese red sausage) - was not expecting them to say yes, but the chef created it for me!! It tasted excellent!! Added $4 for the red sausages, totally worth it! This restaurant is also known for its roast duck that they can run out of as early as 5pm. After they're out of the roast duck, depending on the size of the order, they will take new orders for it, but please note this can take quite a bit of time, so, expecting a quick roast duck meal each time you visit them would be unreasonable. Highly recommended, authentic Cantonese restaurant!!"

"I came to this place, I hadn't come before, at first I was a bit scared because it was empty jeje, we ordered two dishes, the egg rolls were burnt , very bad, but the other two dishes were good... the bbq was very good, excellent. I recommend…. Now the price - quantity is not balanced, but I think they can improve... the service was more or less, we were constantly calling the waiters, but they were nice, so go and check it out"
