ABC Lobster Company is a fresh Maine lobster and seafood restaurant located at 3711 Southwest 47th Avenue, Davie, Florida. Opened in February 2021 by Maine native Chef Alyssa Grover and award-winning Chef Alan Bergman, we are known for serving up some CLAW-SOME food. Our menu features whole lobster, lobster rolls, steaks, and much more, all available daily for takeout, indoor and outdoor dining, and delivery options. Rated as one of the top 10 lobster rolls in Florida, we are a seafood "hidden-gem" in the greater Fort Lauderdale area, just five minutes north of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. "After researching restaurants to try on my trip to FLL, I wasn't going to miss the chance to grab a supper here. Found easily with Google maps, and headed in. Asked for a table outside (they are experiencing a cold front, but it was plenty warm for me!). The server was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. He made the recommendation of several favorites and I chose the Connecticut Lobster Roll. Was I glad that I did! The dish that came out was on a heavenly soft roll, had two nice size lobster claws on top, and was deliciously flavored. The melted butter added just that little bit of extra indulgence to the lobster, which was perfectly cooked, sweet flavored and very fresh. The side of home cut fries were also very well cooked - perfect crispness on the outside, while soft on the inside. The sea salt on top was the correct amount - neither too much nor too little. I have to again reiterate that the service was impeccable. Just the right amount of check ins with me to see if I needed anything. I was so full after the Lobster Roll and fries, that I couldn't even contemplate dessert - though they sounded so delicious. I would definitely recommend visiting this out of the way gem!"
"Amazing, we go once a week. Not only is the seafood fresh, i.e., lobster, stone crabs, oysters, etc. But, I had the beef Wellington today at brunch, the best steak I have had. I have been to steak 954, Morton's, and other great steak houses. A must place to go"
"What a hidden gem! It's in an industrial park, and only one of the entrances, by the guard shack, had an open gate. Originally a catering company, who then offered to-go meals during Covid, and now has a little storefront. Cute decor! Service was kind and attentive. Overall, food was delicious. Clam chowder was excellent, Lobster bisque was yummy, though a bit salty for my taste. I added salt to the Lobster roll - loved the dill flavor. Lobster egg roll was tasty & crunchy, but a bit thin. More filling would be nice. Pricing is reasonable."
"This is an unusual dining experience. A friend recommended it but, she 'warned' us its difficult to find and very small (3 indoor tables). Both true. The staff is super friendly & fun. The food was great. The stone crab & dipping sauce were DELICIOUS. One real complaint: the chairs at our table were super uncomfortable. They only fit the 12 year old's butt comfortably. All in all, something very different and memorable for us."
