Polk County Public School's Bus Yard

"I wish I can give a zero!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!! These school busses need to do better! Incase of emergency no one can get by, and it was there for about 6minutes."

"This is probably the worst school bus transportation system I've dealt with in the 7 years I've had my kids in school. I come from orange county, where they communicate with parents through texts and calls. I've called PCTS probably 3x this week cause nobody could tell me if the bus was going to be an hour late everyday. I work 2 jobs as a single mom and am having difficulty between my son getting bullied on the bus, the overcrowding with 3 kids to a seat, the bus driver refusing to help with a damn thing, the dispatch not returning voicemails to them not being able to give me a time this week of when my son should be at the busstop so he doesn't miss his ride to school and me having to leave work to bring him to school when I'm the sole provider to my household so that's not really an option for me. All I know is, something has to give. All we ask as parents is better communication about the times and etas...my kids education is very important to me and it would be good to rely on the transportation team to get him there. If you're going to be switching up the routine and going to be an hour late to get him and 2 hrs to bring him home please communicate that with me but dispatch doesn't always answer and the bus drivers refuse to be bothered and act like they hate kids. Thanks."

"This is ridiculus. Kids are on buses for 2 hours before getting home. They dont answer the phone or transfer to no one. No child should be on buses for 2 hours. They are extremly late. I will say ine thing good. Having another person on bus beside driver is huge. For those kids that like to bully, there another set of eyes to keep on kids. But really get it together. Create a chat if you cant answer phones"

"The ppl behind the lines are very rude. If you call the phone line public transportation for Lake Alfred, auburndale, they'll get angry at you for asking why the bus hasn't shown up and have no respect when talking to you because they'll yell at you for simple being worried or concerned about a child on a bus that hasn't shown up!"

"The people working in training are just taking tax payers money they're either not good for the jod or they don't really want to work they forget to call you and give you misinformation then make you pay for their mistakes. They are good at drving away good drivers then claim that they need drivers. I'm friends with a lot of their drivers and they all say that the people in the office's do what ever they want ,when ever they want."
