"Based on other reviews, we placed a large takeout order for a family gathering of 18 people. The reviews & the food did not disappoint! Being from NJ we’re pretty critical when it comes to good Italian food. The garlic knots were great, the meatball & chicken parm subs perfect, with plenty of sauce & cheese, the veggie Stromboli cheesy & crispy & even the pizza connoisseurs gave the pizza the thumbs up. A good price for simply great food!"
"Ordered delivery through their website. They called right away to apologize that they had no driver and asked if I could use UberEats instead. That's great service. UberEats worked well. The pizza was quite good. And while I didn't like the wings right away, I kept eating and eating them. Something very nice there; perhaps a smokey flavor? They were very good, even cold. Sadly, the sauce containers in with the wing box were not good quality and sauce got everywhere. Still tasty!"
"Visiting from out of state and would happily return. Ruby’s would definitely be a go-to if I lived in the area. As many other reviewers noted, the garlic knots have the perfect amount of garlic bits and buttery crunch. The thin pizza was excellent, loved the sauce, and toppings were tasty and generous. We ordered the chicken piccata and like the rest of our meal, easily triumphs over pricier more ‘formal’ eateries. Cannoli were 11/10. Thanks Ruby’s for a great meal!"
"If your looking for a quaint lunch getaway, Ruby’s By the Sea is a great choice! The garlic knots were amazing, the generous topping of garlic on that warm bread, Loved it ! I also ordered the Mussels appetizer and the thinly sliced sautéed garlic was wonderful! We also ordered the Large Cheese Pizza. I’m from Brooklyn and I’m pretty picky about my pizza as most New Yorkers are, but I can say the sauce had a great robust flavor , the cheese was fresh and the thin crust crunch was spot on. We met several people from Brooklyn, including the waitress Lynette who had us laughing and reminiscing the entire time! Thanks Ruby’s for the delicious lunch and great atmosphere!"
