"The Academy is an accredited program with Clubhouse International and provides hands-on vocational training for adults living with a mental diagnosis. The staff at The Academy at Glengary is comprised of friendly, top-notch professionals who take their job seriously, providing training and coaching in preparation for transitional employment, as well as job placement in an environment conducive to learning, and at a pace corresponding with one's abilities. Additionally, it is a welcoming harbor for those who just need a safe place to gather with like-minded individuals, forging comradery and goodwill towards one another. For those struggling with life, it provides optimistic hope for a better future. The Academy has been a transformative force, providing me with a new lease on life by facilitating a transitional employment position at the Florida State Attorney’s office. Kudos go out to William McKeever, Cathy Dexter, and Natalie Stratton for providing me with the encouragement and training necessary to be confident and competent in my position. "I really love going to the academy it has helped with my anxiety and my job. It has made me come out of my box and make me feel like I'm important person in life. I really like the art class and in design. And Billy is a really good teacher. And William is the best. And all the stuff is really kind and thoughtful and like to listen to you. I really like the social events and traveling with him to speak at Michigan. Now I'm not scared now to speak in public. I've been going for a long time since it started. The building is lovely. I made some really good friends there and after the academy we hang out a lot."
