Play Action Soulfood and More is a beloved food institution located at 3770 Northeast 3rd Avenue in Pompano Beach, Florida. Established in April 2022, our restaurant offers homemade comfort food bursting with delicious flavors. Our team of experienced chefs, with over 20 years of experience, are passionate about sharing their culinary vision with our guests.
At Play Action Soulfood and More, we are committed to providing a fantastic dining experience for all our customers. Whether you choose to dine in with us or order online for delivery through DoorDash and Grubhub, we ensure that the quality of our meals remains top-notch. We pride ourselves on using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create dishes that reflect the best of the season.
Founder Lamar Jackson, a native of Pompano Beach, is dedicated to creating a positive impact in the community through his restaurant. In addition to serving great food, Play Action Soulfood and More hosts a variety of events, including boxing fight nights, karaoke, stand-up comedy, and live musical performances. We also offer our space for birthday parties and private events.
In addition to our restaurant, we also operate a food truck that serves a slightly different menu but still offers the same delicious flavors. If you're interested in booking the Play Action food truck for your next event, let us know and we'll be there to cater to your needs.

"Real talk: been ordering food from here for a few weeks because my grandma loves turkey wings and they the only place in Pompano that has them on a daily. Grandma loves the food so of course I decided to make a trip of my own. I got 3 plates: Chicken wings, turkey wings and pork chops. Besides missing my son macaroni for his plate, everything was awesome. Restaurant is nice and clean and well taken care of. Food costs everywhere nowadays; to me their prices are very fair. Based on the quality I don’t mind paying their price. Very happy to support. 100x better than the original ownership of this spot which was a sports bar or something.
