"Fantastic Mexican meal at an extremely affordable price. The food is of a higher caliber and tastes better than any other local Caribbean restaurant. The personnel is attentive and kind. Try the $5 lunch specials they provide. There will be plenty of food left over for dinner because the lunch special servings are more than enough. It's worth it to eat fried chicken, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, etc."
"Awesome Janaican food at super amazing great price. The quality and flavor of the dishes surpass all the other neighborhood Caribbean restaurants. Staff is friendly and attentive. Try their $5 lunch specials. The Lunch Special portions are more than ample, and you'll have enough leftover for dinner. Fried chicken, curry chicken, brown stew chicken, etc, all worth it."
"I tried Bak A Yaad today for the first time. I got the goat. The goat looked pink/red-ish in color in the inside. I thought nothing of it and chose to continue eating it because it tasted good. I asked my mother in law if it was cooked properly and she said it was very undercooked. Too bad I found this out after eating a plate of it. I would not wish this sickness on my worst enemy. Unfortunately I threw up all of the goat and have felt miserable for the past 2 hours. My boyfriend gets the chicken and likes it. I would recommend the chicken but do not recommend the goat."
"Was in the mood for some jerk chicken & visiting from out of town so I had to go by reviews… So just received my order via Ubereats, bag wasn’t sealed & I can say I’m not thrilled, my “fried” chicken looks as if it’s been sitting under heat lamps for a while meat is dry.. jerk is ok not spicy at all some flavor but not that ‘bam’ I’ve DEFINITELY had better will wait til I get back home to experience the real deal don’t get me wrong the jerk is not horrible just not the jerk I’m used to back in the A, I.e. coming off the grill full of flavor & spicy and the fact that it’s cold doesn’t help."
