"During our several visits to West Palm, we were finally able to find a "family" restaurant with a traditional southern ambiance. We followed a recommendation to find the restaurant, and we were not let down. We arrived at 11 a.m., and I think we barely missed the morning rush because we were seated right away. Menu: They include kid-friendly options for both the morning meal and the afternoon meal. We placed an order for bacon, eggs, potatoes, corn bread, buttermilk and blueberry pancakes, regular and buffalo chicken tenders, and more. Attached is the menu. The level of service was flawless. really sensitive to our demands for drink cups, to-go boxes, refills, etc. Seating: Both table and counter seating are available."
"Of all the times we came to West Palm, we finally came upon a down home southern hospitality “family” feel restaurant. We came across the restaurant based upon a recommendation and was not disappointed. I believe we just missed the morning rush by arriving at 11am, as we were seated immediately. Menu - They offer a breakfast and lunch menu both suitable for kids. We ordered pancakes (buttermilk and blueberry), bacon, eggs, potatoes, corn bread, chicken tenders (buffalo/regular), etc. Menu is attached. Service - was impeccable. Very attentive to our needs on refills, to go boxes, to go cups for drinks, etc. Seating - They do have counter seating as well as table seating. Parking - We had no problem, but I would guess on a busy day/time it can be a problem. This a breakfast/lunch restaurant that is a must visit when in the West Palm Beach area."
"If you're in Lake Park, give a ride over to Southern Kitchen where they open the door to greet you and feed you like its mommas house. Grits, biscuits and gravy and famous catfish make breakfast special here."
"Service was great. Friendly staff. Food presentation was good. Taste was bland. I ordered the omelet with bacon, veggies, & American cheese. Veggies were crunchy & barely sautéed. Cheese wasn't melted. Everything was nicely placed together & possibly heated in microwave. Pancakes looked microwaved as well. No crisp edges or griddle marks. Just flat & light. I exchanged the pancakes for grits."
