"I came with a friend for the first time this past Monday ( 2/5 ) and after viewing the menu, opted to have the daily special, the meatloaf. We both decided to have it served with the mashed potatoes. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes were a 5. The only reason I rated them a 4 was because of the warmth. Both were at best just warm. If hot, they were both a solid 5. Because of there specials, I decided to return on Friday (2/9) with my friend Anne, a wonderful older friend and we went for the daily special, baby back ribs with side, a FULL rack, $15. I, again, had it with the mashed potatoes (red skin potatoes, partially mashed ie: lumps and my friend got coleslaw. Both meals were a solid 5. And, we got excellent service from our waitress, Judy, who even brought my friend "simple syrup" for her ice tea. A step above any other restaurants I amso want to recognize Eric. A great guy, very personable and went out if his way to help us sign up for the "rewards program ". An asset to The Lantern. Give The Lantern a try. You will not regret it."

"My husband and I tried out this restaurant for the first time for happy hour and some appetizers. Our server, Natalie, was very kind and attentive. The appetizers and drinks were great, and everything was very affordable. We will be back again soon."

"The food was absolutely delicious. Wednesday’s wings are really great deal. The cheesecake is out of this world. Definitely a must have. The atmosphere is really relaxed. This is a great place to have drinks and dinner with friends."

"Update: I went for lunch on Wednesday and sat at the bar. Kara the bartender was so pleasant and helpful. I tried something off their special Lobster Fest menu. I had the Lobster Chowder and the Lobster Croque Monsieur. Both were delicious. Big chunks of lobster in every bite. Their new 7 days a week Brunch menu is amazing. For someone that works weekends, I love that I can get brunch on a Thursday!!!! Food and service was excellent! The menu is impressive. Can’t wait to try everything!!"

"Had the most delicious breakfast at Lantern today. We got the smoked salmon platter, steak and eggs and French toast. The steak was cooked medium rare to perfection. The bagel was so fresh and salmon perfectly smoked and tender. Our server Erin was prompt and friendly. We’ll definitely be back! 10/10"
