About the Business
Reconnections Education Center is a primary school located at 2107 Gunn Highway in Odessa, Florida, United States. Our institution utilizes the Developmental, Individual Differences, Relationship-Based model (DIR®/Floortime™) to support each child's unique profile. Through play and sensory-based activities, students experience educational curriculum grounded in the Floortime approach. Each student receives one hour of individual speech language therapy and occupational therapy weekly, with integrated therapist expertise in the classroom.
We believe that every child has the right to access education in a way that makes sense for them. Our program focuses on the process and journey of learning, rather than just the outcomes. With a maximum 3:1 student to teacher ratio, our students receive a specialized individual program tailored to their needs. Many of our students have regulatory challenges stemming from sensory processing difficulties, and emotional regulation is a core component of our curriculum.
We follow the Pasco County school calendar and offer rolling admission, allowing enrollment at any point during the school year. Our state-of-the-art facility features multiple classrooms, educational tools, and sensory equipment to support learning.
