Crystal Aero Group, Inc. is a full-service FBO and flight school located at 718 North Lindberg Terrace in Crystal River, Florida. Established in 1978, this institution has been serving pilots and students from all over the world on the stunning Nature Coast of Florida. The goal of Crystal Aero Group is to offer top-notch training in a personalized and welcoming environment, where students are treated like family. Additionally, the institution aims to provide Citrus County businesses and residents with a well-run transportation hub and valuable resource.
Founded and managed by Tom and Gudi Davis, Crystal Aero Group is now under the leadership of owner James Chen. Since 1983, the institution has held the service lease for the county-owned Crystal River Airport. Crystal Aero Group is committed to providing exceptional services and training to all who walk through its doors.

"What a super nice company! Went here to fly and have an instrument rating checkride while renting an aircraft. Very friendly staff, extremely helpful and a true ‘aviation’ atmosphere! "Had my airplane there for an annual, had to spend another lot of money to correct what they did to my airplane. Complained to the owner, James, he said "all the other customers are happy". Delivery day, had smoke in the cockpit, called Mike, the IA, he said he couldn't smell anything, said it was probably a position light in short, removed, put it back and I should be good to go... Magnetos out of time during runup, no drop, nobody cared. Sump screen wasn't cleaned. Fuel leak in the main feeding line due to a misplaced clamp. A couple of weeks later, tried to start the engine, no battery. Removed the cowling, found the source of the smoke... See pictures."

"As a flight instructor, I've taken several students here for check rides, and I've always been happy with results. Not all of them have passed, but all of their results were fair. Gudi and Tom are both very nice and I highly recommend them as designated examiners."
