"I came to Destin, FL for a weekend and knew it was the perfect opportunity to scuba dive. Emerald Coast Scuba was the first place I called and I knew I didn’t need to call any other place. Ms. Anna answered all my questions and squeezed me in last minute (I was doing this solo) - she was so nice and energetic! Dusty was my instructor and he was amazing! I needed a few refresher lessons, but he was so patient with me. He also helped me get the right equipment to attach my GoPro to my BC. During the dive, Dusty was responsible for me and someone one else, but he kept track of us and made sure we were okay frequently. He also pointed out a lot of different fish and sea critters. I was definitely in good hands. The entire staff here is nice and accommodating. For someone who hasn’t dove in a while, I thought the price with all equipment included was pretty reasonable. One thing I wish I’d known/remembered was to bring cash to tip the amazing captain, deckhands and my instructor. I didn’t have cash nor did I have Venmo (almost everyone has this but not CashApp or Zelle), so I wasn’t able to tip, and I felt like I dropped the ball on that. Also, make sure if you’re borrowing equipment and don’t have a dive watch, get the dive details before you leave! Thanks to everyone at Emerald Coast Scuba! I had an amazing experience getting back into scuba. I’d highly recommend anyone to them!"
"Captain Tom and Dive Master Scott are amazing. They catered to our needs and really listened. We booked over the phone because they set up their schedule based on the tide, not a clock. Highly recommend! We rented gear, and our BCD and wetsuits were brand new!"
"Had an amazing dive with all of the staff! They were all very accommodating, personable, experienced and fun to be around! Shop had tons of great equipment and selection too! -Edit: met Scott Cole at the airport the following morning and had a great conversation with him, he answered all of my boyfriends questions and gave us lots of advice for going forward with our scuba certifications!"
