Good Intentions

"I went with three other vegan connoisseurs and we were blown away by Good Intentions! Easily the best vegan restaurant in the area. We ordered 5 different entrees, three apps and all the desserts to share. Everything was insane. You can tell the food is made from the highest quality ingredients by a talented chef. Excellent work! Very excited to have this in town."

"Definitely a 5 star kind of place! The vibe, the service and especially the food! Located in a Quonset hut, the whole experience will make me look forward to visiting again.. and soon! From the moment we walked in with the purple undertones and the Halloween decor, I knew this was going to be an adventure. Our server was very knowledgeable about the drink menu as well as the appetizers.. those Brussel sprouts were no joke! Bursting with flavor and definitely a table favorite! We enjoyed our meals whether it was the Seasonal gnocchi, Buffalo tempeh, Tarpon style Greek salad, or Hot Italian beef. Dessert was brought in by a local baker and was superb. Enjoyed a chocolate ube and a red velvet cake. And ready for the kicker… IT’s 100% VEGAN! Oh my!!! This is how it should be done! Photos were challenging because if the lighting but that should not discourage anyone from going (so please don’t judge the photography!). Oh!!! Each bathroom (there were three individual room) had mudic playing and different decor. The music tract was surprising too! But I won’t spoil it…"

"This is a vegan restaurant located in a yet to be renovated part of downtown behind the Rays stadium. Parking is limited and at lunch time on Sunday it was busy. A large spacious building with a bar at the end. Mine is a non-vegan point of view. We chose a charcuterie board for $45 that was mediocre at best, but the hummus was delicious, the best part of the board. The vegan gyro meat was not appealing in texture or flavor. I'm not sure if vegans eat cheese, if it was real cheese it was not great, if it was fake cheese then they did pretty good. Free first glass of Mimosa was a pleasant surprise. The desserts were fabulous, rich and gratifying. It was very loud throughout the meal, the clamor came mostly from the bar area. Patrons milled around the room greeting each other and perusing some of the wares for sale at the back of the room. Service was exuberant and gregarious provided by Joey who is quite the character, perfect for this venue."

"A very delectable vegan experience! All the food was great. The ambience was lovely and the server was very friendly. The vibe is very easy to be in with lot of good energy and cool art decorating the atmosphere. My only critique is the common use of fake meat ingredients in the menu, although I do understand it is a brunch spot!"
