"I went to this school since it opened, now i'm in high school and i miss this place so much.all the memories i made i will never forget, this is such a great school no matter what any other person says here on the reviews. once i got into 8th grade and went to the annex is was like a little community, it was just 6th 7th & 8th graders and the teachers, no little kids yelling all the time just pre-teens and teens. The teachers are great but from what i hear all the good teachers are gone. Would highly recommend putting your kids here. :)"

"I attended the school since first grade and honestly, I can't think of a better place to be in. It is a wonderful school and you feel like you belong and everyone there is really nice. The academics there are really great and they do have an IFA and STEAM program over there. I think it is a really great school and you should attend."

"I have been in this school since kindergarten, and all I can say is that this school is average. It has it's ups and downs. The food and bathrooms aren't good, but that doesn't really matter in the scheme of things. Most of the teachers are really kind and are actually good at teaching while some just seem to straight up hate kids. Parents complain about the staff and office, and to be honest I could see why, but the library is paradise, they have everything! If you are chosen to go to the Aventura Waterway Prepatory Academy, please go! The food and the teachers are way better, and there are advanced classes for middle schoolers who are ahead. I never regret switching to the annex, even though it is not in Aventura."

"Being a first year middle schooler at AWK8 and having been in the school for 7 years, I am incredibly satisfied with my experience. Despite having those few 'not-favorite teachers', they have made my time there memorable. It is obvious all the teachers deeply care for their students. In this school, there's discipline. If they see an electronic device or anything in general prohibited of being there, they confiscate it. The teachers also keep the parents involved in the good and bad news. The principal as well does a very good job at maintaining this school in top condition. Overall, great school. I enjoy being a student there and look forward to the remainder of middle school."

"First grade teachers Arzanova and Gilbert are the most dedicated and lovely teachers ever!! Only recommendation would be make more accessible the school and get to know the classmates of the classroom... Other than that we are very happy with this school and we used to love the previous one (North Beach Elementary) but this one is a good one too!! Thanks to all!!"
