"After living in Orlando for 6 years I decided to take my dad here for breakfast. As described on the menu, the CFS sandwich for the Monday special specifically says sandwich. Other customers said it would be a sandwich like their house BLT. It was not. It was a chicken fried steak with white gravy and a side of fries. The fries were to be purchased separately so for the special being $13, you still have to spend $3.25 for a side which brings it to $0.25 more than regular price. The coffee was essentially brown mop water so no coffee taste, they forgot my dad’s orange juice, and the fries were over done and the gravy was bland and very heavy. If I could do zero stars that would be satisfactory."

"Was in town for the 24 Hours of Daytona and one day I decided to stop and eat. Reminds of the diners we have back home in New Jersey. Food was amazing. Couldn't eat for the rest of the day afterwards. Will definitely come back at next year's race weekend"

"Friendly, small town, no frills diner. Food was great (had the egg plate with bacon, home fries, and an enormous biscuit for $14). Service was great. Very refreshing to go to a traditional breakfast joint that’s not full of fancy, “instagram ready” brunch items on the menu."

"Stephani (with the missing e by mistake) was absolutely a delight. The food quality, taste, and value was great. When you walk into this establishment, you are walking into somebody’s welcoming dinning room. My wife and I felt immediately welcomed and interpreted into “the family dynamic”. We will become newly returning regulars. Thanks you for welcoming us!!"

"Prior to the pandemic, I was a regular patron of the daybreak. However, I had not been back in quite a while so I decided to try it again last weekend. The service has always been good and friendly there and that does not appear to have changed. The food quality and value for prices charged have, apparently and unfortunately, declined quite a bit. Perhaps it was just an "off" day for the kitchen but when I am charged $14 for 2 eggs, 2 turkey sausage patties, a small helping of hash browns and 2 pieces of toast, I would expect a little more than what was served in the attached pic. ( I was surprised that, at least, one complimentary cup of coffee was not included at these prices... ) Again, hoping this was just a one-time fluke."
