"We had a very good experience with KLA NMB. Our son went here for the infant class, then after I returned to work after covid, returned for the two year old class. We always felt he was so loved and nurtured here. The current director Lilah was wonderful to us - always very responsive and communicative with any concerns I had, and available to talk openly with me. They also were very helpful throughout potty training. It truly is a full fledged “school” environment, not like a daycare, and I felt it prepared our son very well for pre school."

"I am not a person who usually write a lot of reviews, but after the very unique experience my son had at KLA North Miami Beach, I really needed to leave a testimonial here for the parents who really care about their children. When we (my husband and I) looked for a preschool for our son in the past, we looked for a place with the following features: - a good teacher-student ratio, because sometimes the schools here in Miami area don’t care about that and your kid is just one more among others, and I have to say that Samuel always had his main teacher, and at least one assistant, not mentioning the other teachers related to the other activities he used to have at the school, like for example, the art classes in the atelier that he used to love so much. Pretty much everyone I met from the school knew Samuel by his name. So they really cared about him. - children-friendly and comfortable environment- oh my God, have you ever visited this school? It was a love at first time…every detail inside and outside of the classrooms is beautiful and very stimulating! Kids can use their creativity all the time… - real-time learning - kids used to play, but they used to learn while they were playing and there were moments where they needed to focus academically speaking, because the teacher cared about having him prepared for the kindergarten. Samuel is in the kindergarten now in a Charter school and he is doing so well. - safety - the school has only one door where the kids pass through to go into the school and when we pick them up, they have an automatic system where we need to sign in and sign out our kid. This is priceless. - communication - I always had a feedback from the school in regards to my son by email, journals written by the teachers, and through an app where you are able to check the activities they have been doing on daily basis at school. - last but not least, a large play area, outside and inside, where kids were able to play and interact with the other kids. This is one of the most important aspects to me, especially facing times like the pandemic we had recently. With that being said, if you are looking for a preschool with the qualities above, I would go to KLA NMB. Samuel will never forget about the moments he had at this preschool! And we, as parents, will never forget about the love he had over there while he attended this school. Thank you KLA NMB."

"I would've loved to leave a 5 star review as my daughter thoroughly enjoyed the environment at KLA of NMB. The academy is clean, new and includes what seems to be a wonderful inclusive/interactive setting where the Montessori philosophy is implemented. However, due to recent events we are sadden to know that KLA of NMB is just that, a facade of a nurturing environment. Which is why I felt compelled to leave KLA of NMB a 1 star review. My daughter was fortunate enough to have been in Ms.Kay's VPK class where we felt welcomed since day 1. In various occasions Ms. Kay went out of her way to be communicative with my husband and I on our child's progress, failures and successes. I have honestly NEVER encountered such a gem of a teacher where we truly trusted the care our child was in and it is very apparent why children naturally gravitate towards her. With that being said, I am absolutely appalled and disgusted at the behavior of management towards an ex-employee especially one so loved by the alumni's and their families. As parents we work hard and sacrificed a substantial amount of money for our daughter to attend KLA of NMB and to learn that our tuition was more beneficial to management while the teachers have had to pay for materials out of pocket, and have had their paychecks or sign on bonuses hostage is completely absurd. While I am truly thankful for the wonderful teacher and friends met at KLA, I would highly recommend thinking twice before registering your child here. All the gems are far gone and have left the school due to their apparent culture."

"Since the last review is over 2 yrs old, I thought it best to give an updated one: My son has been at KLA NMB since Aug 2021 and I'm so happy to send him off to this school. I stress 'school' because that's what it is, not just a daycare where kids are stuck in a classroom mindlessly watching tv or rough-housing without any adult supervision or guidance. They provide small classrooms, Baby Nido being capped at 8 children, have lesson plans, give daily reports and pictures, and even parent-teacher conferences. The director and co-director are warm, friendly, and very easy to get in touch with. They provide parents with apps to check-in and out the children, and receive messages. KLA NMB has also done excellent work with keeping pace with COVID-19 protocols, requiring staff to wear masks, get tested, etc. I plan to continue to send my son here through pre-k."
