"Our 7 year old son started at Miami Shores Montessori School when he was 2.5 years old. We cannot emphasize enough what an absolutely amazing school this is! The teachers are great and the director, Sylvia, knows how to run a school that encourages children to thrive. Our son has had great academic achievements as well as grown emotionally through the years. The teachers have been able to individualize his lessons so that he enjoys learning and have taken him to his utmost potential. The school community is also extremely caring and nurturing. We are forever grateful!"

"I have two sons at Miami Shores Montessori, the older one in 1st grade and the younger one (4 years old) in Pre-K. Both of them are developing incredibly well, my younger one reads fluently and easily comprehends basic math skills. The older one has just received his results of standardized tests, scoring, at a minimum, on the level of a third grader. In some areas he has scored at the level of a fifth grader. Mind you he is in the first grade. All this, and more, I attribute to the loving environment of the school, the teachers stay and the families stay. The children flourish in this stable, caring environment. This is a small school where attention is placed on each child, and his/ her family. Both of my sons get one full hour of yoga per week, two hours of gardening, Spanish, and, Chinese; all that of course in addition to arts, sports, etc. Nowhere else did I see more diverse curriculum. You will be happy to see your children happy, thriving and doing well academically with ease. Many of the school’s “graduates” continue on to Miami Country Day or Cushman School.
