"Ahhh!!! So delicious!! Adrian was our server and was so kind and patient as he helped us with the menu. We ordered traditional shrimp & fish ceviche, Salmon (pescado Lo macho) and whole red snapper (pargo a lo Macho) with Helado de Lucuma to finish. Wow ! Literally EVERYTHING was amazing and we will definitely be back!!"
"Sabor mix is a great Peruvian restaurant with authentic and delicious flavor! We have been several times before and went with some friends the other night. We ordered the tostones acevichados and bang bang shrimp, which were both great! Although a little disappointing that they could not bring it without cilantro. Our friends ordered the carne asada plate and the arroz con mariscos, which they both really liked. I ordered the tacu tacu aji de gallina, and it has been the best thing I have tried at the restaurant so far! Definitely recommend! My boyfriend got the churrasco, which is usually really delicious, but this time was really lacking in flavor. We also tried their passion fruit juice—very fresh and VERY sweet. For dessert, don’t miss out on the alfajores! Definitely check out this place if you haven’t. It’s one of the better South American restaurants in Jax!"
"Jacksonville, you are sleeping on the best ceveche in town at a very reasonable price! Ask your waiter to suggest their favorite dish, and you won't be disappointed. I added shrimp to mine and these were large, flavourful, and woven together to crown a bed of finely shaved onion, atop a mountain of whitefish ceveche in sauce, served alongside hominy, and a slice of perfectly prepared and chilled pumpkin. I also enjoyed their stack of perfectly fried yuca and dipping sauce. To drink, grab yourself an Inca Soda for a non alcoholic taste adventure. Sorry Coke & Pepsi, I'm converted! The Piña Colada's being served to the other table looked amazing too. Come pay homage to the Great White Llama(Alpaca) and truely appreciate the international flavors of Jacksonville at Sabor Mix!"
"First time there with little expectations and we were very pleased. Food and service was great! I did ask for bread or chips for the ceviche and was given saltines for $1.50 which was kind of strange. Otherwise overall a nice experience."
