"Today was my first time trying Temptress Caribbean and I say that to say, I WILL BE BACK!!! The jerk chicken was really tasty, and it had a nice little spicy kick to it, and the oxtails were fall off the bone delicious! Lemme tell you... I used to drive 2hrs to Hinesville, GA to get really good Jamaican food... But Now... I can just go across town to Temptress Caribbean Restaurant!!!"

"My friend came to visit me and wanted to have some good Caribbean food while she was here. She found this place fairly close, and I’m glad she did! As an intro, this is the literal “hole-in-the-wall” place you will want to try. It is a Jamaican/Caribbean restaurant with one table and limited bar seating, with a chef and a clerk. It appeared they do most business by takeout, but there was not a line when we visited. We dined in, as we were on our way to the airport. I had the jerk wings, and my friends had the salmon and the oxtail. The jerk chicken was some of the best I’ve ever tried — better than what I tried in Jamaica! A meal comes with a half dozen mixed wings, with rice and beans and a cabbage salad. The meal was enough for two small sittings (half for now, half for later), but on a hungry day I could probably smash the whole plate. As I was eating, my phone fell out of my pocket — and the clerk ran to grab it: “No, no — you’re eating” she said as I went to retrieve it. The clerk and the chef were both extremely kind and my guests enjoyed the meal and time to relax before traveling. I’ll definitely be back, and I suspect I’ll be bringing company."

"First time in Jacksonville and I was craving some jerk chicken with rice and peas. I found this restaurant and noticed how clean the establishment is and how fresh the food looks. I ended up getting rice and peas, oxtails, jerk chicken, their special sweet crispy chicken, cabbage, and plantains. Everything hit the spot and the customer service was also great. I recommend this place to everyone."

"The customer service was outstanding, the atmosphere was perfect, and the environment was impeccably clean. The entire restaurant seating area is very clean, organized, and professional. The food was so good, well seasoned and flavorful. I will certainly be a frequent customer. It's hard to explain Rasta pasta and cabbage because it's so delicious. I have attached a photo of the before and after."

"Title: A Culinary Journey at Jamaica Caribbean Restaurant: Exploring the Delights of Fresh Ox Tail, Salmon Rice, Cabbage, and Fried Plantains Introduction: Embarking on a gastronomic adventure is akin to exploring the diverse cultures and traditions of different regions. Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at the renowned Jamaica Caribbean Restaurant, where I indulged in a delectable feast of fresh ox tail, salmon rice, cabbage, and fried plantains. This essay aims to recount my unforgettable experience, highlighting the flavors, textures, and aromas that transported me to the vibrant streets of Jamaica. I. The Alluring Aromas: As I stepped into the Jamaica Caribbean Restaurant, the air was filled with an enticing medley of spices and herbs. The tantalizing scent of jerk seasoning, a signature Jamaican blend, wafted through the air, instantly whetting my appetite. The fragrant aroma of slow-cooked ox tail, infused with aromatic spices, promised a culinary experience like no other. II. The Tender and Flavorful Ox Tail: The centerpiece of my meal was the succulent ox tail, a traditional Jamaican delicacy renowned for its rich and tender meat. As I took my first bite, the meat effortlessly fell off the bone, revealing its melt-in-your-mouth texture. The flavors were a harmonious blend of savory and slightly sweet, owing to the slow cooking process and the infusion of spices. Each mouthful was a delightful journey, as the flavors danced on my palate, leaving a lasting impression. III. The Exquisite Salmon Rice: Complementing the ox tail was a generous serving of salmon rice, a vibrant and colorful dish that showcased the fusion of Jamaican and Caribbean flavors. The perfectly cooked salmon, flaky and moist, was nestled atop a bed of fragrant rice infused with coconut milk and a hint of spice. The combination of the tender fish and the aromatic rice created a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. IV. The Refreshing Cabbage: To balance the richness of the main dishes, a side of cabbage was served. The cabbage, lightly sautéed with onions and peppers, provided a refreshing and crisp element to the meal. Its subtle flavors acted as a palate cleanser, allowing me to fully appreciate the complexity of the other dishes. V. The Sweet and Savory Fried Plantains: No Jamaican meal is complete without the inclusion of fried plantains. Served alongside the main course, the plantains were perfectly caramelized, offering"
