"i hadn’t been here in years because i visited a few times and the food wasn’t great, compared to the OG location at dadeland. i gave this another shot recently, in the interest of saving myself the drive across town. the food was much better and it has been consistently good the last few times i came! the place is clean and organized well, the staff was very friendly and attentive (thanks, Cookie!) and the food was pretty good, for the most part. the corn was fantastic, the beef sandwich was tender and flavorful, and the fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! where things did come a bit undone was with the coleslaw and the baked beans. the coleslaw was super dry and the beans tasted like cough syrup. i’ve had both of these items here in the past and have never had this issue, so maybe is was just an off day ¯\_(ツ)_/¯"

"This is the best barbeque restaurant in South Miami. The service was great - our waiter brought extra stuff like water, sauces, and other necessities without having to ask and he was very attentive, 10/10 for the service. As for the food, it is well worth the price - very delicious and has generous portion. I highly recommend the sampler platter if you have a party of 3 or more (it is huge). The brisket, ribs, and chickens all are very tasty. Desserts are awesome as well. I highly recommend the pecan pie and the tres leches. 10/10 for the food. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Well, here is the issue. The food was delicious, but the service was not good at all. They close the bar at 9:30 pm, but there is not any official notice displayed for customers to be aware of it other than an angry manager screaming in the kitchen because she is tired of dealing with people. My server was into a deep conversation with another client, and I guess it was a very interesting theme because he was sitting with them while I was waiting to get some water. But again, the food will make me want to go back. Now, would I actually do it? I'm not sure."

"Good American styled BBQ food. I wouldn't say it's the best due some items being on the bland side. I recommend the burgers, corn and baked beans. The ribs were okay; a little tough to chew. They serve beers, wine and now margaritas. The price is just right. A nice spot to stop by for American barbecue food once in awhile."
