"I have been coming to Shorty barbecue since I have been eight years old growing up in south Florida. It burned down once and then they rebuild it and they only added air-conditioning after that. It is the best that it has ever been in their fantastic barbecue sauce, unmatched worldwide. I would know I’m an airline pilot for 40 years now, and I’ve eaten many places all over the world and I would have to say, no one has the best barbecue sauce for what Shorty’s secret recipe is!! Always fun when I’m in South Florida to stop in and taste a piece of history with excellent unmatched barbecue. The waitresses that work there are always the best as well. It’s great to keep piece of history alive and have excellent barbecue at the same time. ❤️"
"Food here is very tasty and delicious. Service is quick and their staff are kind. The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because the Restrooms are nasty, i have visited the place several times and same scenario. Gas station restrooms are sometimes cleaner. If you have kids it would be a challenge."
"10/13/2023 This is one of those restaurants people know forever. Great decoration with great location oriented to family meals. The ribs were literally cold dry, not tasty as always used to be. The service was fantastic, and I have received great suggestions all the time. Nice environment, and the price is acceptable."
"Legendary and traditional Miami BBQ place. Great service and the customary famous bbq dishes. Only one observation, chicken meat a bit dry this time. Certainly unexpected but surely they correct it."
