"First time there last night. Mofongo night, it was spectacular. We had the smoked Gouda and ham croquetas. Amazing!! The corn bread was out of this word. Highly recommend. Mofongo with brisket was like dying and going to heaven. Being puerorican, I had high expectations and this totally exceeded them. Service was excellent. Sofia was great, gave us suggestions and took good care of us. Can’t wait to come back."

"Drove down from Pembroke Pines to check it out with my family especially after seeing it featured in NY Times, NPR, Rest and Infatuation Miami. It lives up to the hype! We actually had the owner Michelle Coleman as our waitress/server and her enthusiasm was infectious. We ordered the brisket, pulled pork, cornbread, pastrami tequenos, smoked croquetas and pork belly. Everything was absolutely amazing and mouth watering. Highly recommend going as you won't be disappointed. Make a reservation as there's limited seating."

"We wanted to try this BBQ place in Miami because we saw them on social media. They were so accommodating because we didn’t have reservations but we waited patiently and got a table. We waited 30 mins but it well worth it. The brisket was tender. The ribs were very tender. Corn bread was so good. I ate and forgot to take the picture of it. All the meat was very flavorful and very very tender. None of the meat was dry or overcooked. Would highly recommend this place. Service was great also. We will be coming back here."

"Heard about this place from an interview on WLRN with the owners. Tried it out and enjoyed the experience. We did not have a reservations though it is recommended. It's a small place. I had the baby back ribs with honey butter cornbread. A good portion of the half slab ribs were well cooked with a nice tasting bbq sauce. The ribs were not very tender. But tender enough. With a side of more sauce which was not needed. The truffle mac & cheese stole the show. It was very good and flavorful. The bacon pieces and hint of garlic made this side dish a great compliment to the ribs and then there was the two piece cornbread. Also a great compliment. We also ordered the brisket. Tender and juicy. The portion was not as expected for the price however. Pleasant staff to include owner. Nice local spot"
