"Good BBQ place close Kendall! We enjoyed dthe brisket, pulled bork, burnt ends and many different sides. The service was friendly and relatively fast despite the full crowd. We could come back but would ask for stronger seasoning in the meats."

"I visited Acocalypse today for the second time and this time I did not have such a good experience. I have to say I left disappointed this time. Firstly, there was a wait to be seated, which is understandable given its popularity. Then, when I finally sat down, I made sure to emphasize to the waiter that I wanted my food hot, especially since I don't enjoy cold meat. I ordered the chicken wings, onion rings, and cornbread—all delicious, except for the chicken wings. When they arrived they were cold and the waiter took them back to the kitchen and supposedly made fresh, but they ended up being overcooked and burnt to a crisp. It was like eating charcoal, and I could only salvage the meat on top using my fork and knife. I did mention this to the waiter when asked how everything was, but unfortunately, they didn't offer any solution or apology. As someone who values hot food and is willing to pay for quality, this experience left me quite disappointed. Just wanted to share my thoughts on it."

"After 4 tries, I was determined to finally eat at Apocalypse. On a Thursday afternoon at 2 pm the wait was one hour for 4 people. There are shared tables of 6 meaning 2 parties of 2 on either side and in the center are two empty chairs. So every time a party of two would finish they'd sit another one ahead of us. We had to wait till a full table was cleared. I think it would be much better to have a lot of tables for two and just combine them as needed to maximize the space. We had parties of two that arrived 20 minutes after us that were seated at a table for 6 before us. All the other times, I've come it's been over one hour or they've been out of food. This has been the biggest hurdle and I'm sure they've lost clients because of it. They also have been working on their food supply issues because if you come later in the day they are out of specific foods. We waited the hour and finally got a seat inside. They have 4 tables to seat 4-6 people so I'd definitely recommend more smaller tables that can be combined to accommodate the guests. Once we sat down our server came over right and took our drink order. I ordered a spicy margarita and my wife ordered the blueberry mint white sangria. Both drinks were strong and tasted good. To start we ordered the brisket bacon, which is pork belly with the seasoning around the outside. It was delicious but a little dry even though the sauce it came helped. We also ordered the corn bread. I've heard many good things of the cornbread however I felt ours was dry. I was expecting it to be more soft and moist. We wanted to try the brisket empanada but they were already out of them at 2 pm. For our main course, we ordered the brisket and the wild boar burger. The brisket is a very popular item here and I'd agree with everyone. It falls apart on the tray and is super flavorful. Definitely recommend trying it. The burger was also delicious. I added a cup of Jefe sauce to it which definitely helped and it was so good. For desert we had some chocolate chip cookies that were super rich and chewy. They were delicious. Our server took good care of us the whole time and the food was good. For anyone not wanting to wait it's all about timing. When we were leaving at 3/3:30 the restaurant was empty and you could get a seat right away. Parking is also very limited. I would have figured by this time they would have worked out the kinks but they still have have a way to go."

"First time stopping by Apocalypse BBQ after hearing so much about it! It did not disappoint! My party and i sat at the bar and Jason took care of us. He recommended the brisket bacon, the cornbread, Mac and cheese, and the 1/2lb brisket. We got just that! The brisket bacon was super tender and had a crispy crust, the cornbread was delicious very soft salty/sweet, mac and cheese was very creamy and the brisket melted in your mouth. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for flavorful tender meat!"
