Tele Tots Child Care

"After doing many daycare tours and speaking to a family friend who spoke highly about this center, I decided to enroll my daughter here for daycare then VPK & aftercare. My daughter was at this center for 6 months. Her behavior declined substantially. Going from having little to no behavioral issues to having tantrums daily. I expressed many concerns about things going on there and the director just brushed them off. The first of many being that my daughter’s teacher didn’t ever make eye contact with me when I had questions. She would close her eyes and stutter while answering my questions. This caused concern with me because if she can’t have a proper conversation and respectfully look my in the eyes, what was she teaching the children? I don’t know about anybody else but I don’t want my child learning those poor habits. When I brought this up to the director she brushed it off and said it’s just how that teacher is and assured me she didn’t do that with the children. My daughter’s behavior only got worse after that conversation. I hate to think about the possibility of them treating my daughter differently due to my concerns. But unfortunately, I do think that’s exactly what happened. Three weeks ago, I switched her to a different center and her behavior has improved dramatically. I will never recommend Teletots to anybody."

"Called early morning for some information about enrolling my child and the woman who answered the phone had the ugliest attitude and tone. Definitely not sending my child to a place where all it takes is a phone call to test someones nerves."

"My children have been attending this facility for approximately a year cumulatively. This is an excellent facility and I strongly recommend it. Initially due to the dated appearance and lack of natural light, I was reluctant to enroll my girls. However, after trying both the public school as well as the impressive ambiance of Creative World -St Cloud, I've decided that Tele Tots is the only daycare in St. Cloud for my little ones. My disappointment with those programs stemmed from the lack of emphasis on education and teaching reading at the VPK level. Also, I later learned that in the toddler room (Age 1+), although hidden by privacy glass, one entire wall is a window! My baby gets plenty of natural light. I was concerned about that when I visited the Building Brains Academy. I should also mention that we tried Bright Scholars and even though overall the owner, staff, and facility were impressive I felt the lack of educational material on the wall was a drawback. Further, I felt for the costed there placed too much emphasis on parent to prep milk for babies and such...not to mention their playground had not shade at the time. I digress, the most remarkable aspect of Tele Tots is the structured lesson plans that keep parents abreast of what's being taught so they can reinforce at home. My VPK student also gets "homework"!! Excellent preparation for kindergarten. The environment is always very structured and kids are always in constructive activities. READING IS IMPORTANT AT THE VPK LEVEL. Research shows that children that read/are read to prior to entering Kindergarten learn to love reading and do better through-out their academic career. Tele Tots places a strong Emphasis on education. Ms. Melinda is great. I have observed her through the window and was very impressed with the way she recruited each and every student into the lesson study. The owner, Ms. Charnet is organized and consistent. As I understand it she has owned the business for more than a decade and her very own children attend. She is amicable, knows every parent and child, and is accommodating of parents childcare needs. They treat every child as their own. My daughter was formerly at Creative World St. Cloud. There was no reading or vocab taught at the VPK I see significant improvement in my 4-year old's vocabulary and reading. Thank you to all the staff!!! I'd be remiss if I failed to mention that their rates are also exceptional. (...and they include 2 meals and multiple snacks!) They've also worked with my family through financial challenges and have always put my children's needs before their earnings."

"@ Blaize Fisher As a parent who has trusted this daycare with their child for years, I can say that this comment is completely false. Tele Tots is the best daycare my son has ever been to, he has learned so much since he’s been here. I appreciate the support I have gotten from the staff. Because of your child’s aggressive nature he could not stay at this daycare for the well-being of the other children. Why didn’t you included in your post all the other schools and daycares that prevented your son from attending. Your son has a behaviour problem and you’re no better than him. Proper upbringing begins at home. He is a bully just like you."

"I have my 3 year old here for about four months now and he just Love's it!!! He had never been in care of anyone before and bring him to Tele-Tots was the best choice ever he transitioned well coming from home care. He always comes home and tells me how much fun he's had and what he is learning and better yet he can't wait to see his friends again. The staff there are amazingly nice and caring and I couldn't ask for a better Director. Ms. Campbell is always there and always puts the needs of the children first. After seeing a couple center's around I am glad I choose this one for my little man. I can honestly say when I drop him off my heart stays at ease knowing he is in good hands. Rating would be a 10 if we had more star's."
