"We have been at this KinderCare for 6 months in the infant room and it has been awesome getting sincere, interactive and loving care for our 1-year-old. The current directors, Terri and Joceline are so involved in knowing the kids and bringing social and educational enrichment to center. I was very impressed that during staffing changes these ladies kept us updated and listened to any concerns we had. Within the infant room, Trish has been a consistent source of comfort, love and learning; working on walking, speech and social interaction with our baby. Isabell is always cuddling the little ones or offering toys and activities that improve coordination skills. Meagan is the perfect blend of patience and encouragement as she is getting our little one ready to transition in the toddler room. These teachers spend time getting to know our child, encouraging his development and suggesting changes to prepare him for the next classroom. The administrators and teachers at OakLeaf KinderCare have huge hearts, show true interest in the children and feel like family! You know you are at a good facility when even Marilyn, who prepares the meals, sees your child and immediately greets them by name with a huge smile! I recommend Terri and her team 100% to provide outstanding childcare."

"I'd give 0 stars if possible. My child got dismissed after 2 half days stating he needed more 1:1 care when he was just distressed over having not had anything to eat nor drink that he could tolerate. I was transparent from the start and let them know he wasn't just a "picky eater", but that had many sensory processing issues. His therapists were open to come to he facility to do training. I instead, just got brushed off over my concerns despite them knowing I'm a medical provider. I was even told they'd work with us. Ha! Then they just kicked him out via email the night before he was supposed to start his third half-day!! He never had a chance. Both days that my mom picked him up his shirt was soiled from all the crying. You couldn't even change his shirt? All admin needs to be replaced."

"This place has gone down hill so much in a year. We've gone through 3 directors and interim directors, all of the teachers are leaving for other daycares because they refuse to pay them adequately. It looks great but when you go inside you can smell the soiled diaper smells and see the disarray. They have had not enough teachers for the amount of toddlers in their class this whole last week. We had to pull our kids early before our two weeks notice because we feel it is unsafe."

"My boys attended Kindercare for all of 2 months before I removed them from the center, effective immediately. We had similar experiences as past posters— in the 2 months my kids attended this daycare the director, office manager and three teachers quit, two of the exiting teachers happen to be my kids teachers. They place all children in a bubble and expect them to all act the same which is ridiculous for a group of pre-schoolers. Especially when there is zero consistency due to changing rules classroom to classroom and high turnover. One of my kids loved their old school but cried everyday on the way to Kindercare and begged me not to drop him off. The straw that broke the camels back and lead to me pulling them out immediately was when I picked up one of my kids early to find out a floater(?) threatened she was “GOING TO CALL THE POLICE TO TAKE HIM TO JAIL” if he didn’t fall in line. My kid JUST turned 5 years old. They need to clean house and start from scratch with properly trained staff. If negative stars were an option, they’d rock it. EDIT: I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I feel for the assistant director/acting director Ms. Amy. She seems to be the only one there who genuinely cares about the children at the center and is trying to keep things afloat despite having incompetent stuff."

"Definitely do NOT recommend this daycare. We have been here two years and this has drastically gone downhill. Sounds like we have experienced some of the problems a previous poster mentioned, unfortunately. High turnover rates, no consistency in teachers, little to no communication or updates on your child, teachers that are not properly trained to work with certain age groups and do not understand children's behavioral development, teachers that have no problem bullying and antagonizing toddlers, the list goes on. They have absolutely no problem lying to parents' faces (on multiple occasions, multiple staff members in our experience). Always an excuse or empty apologies from upper management but never a solution or resolution to any problem. All about the profit and not about the children as they claim. Honestly, I hate that a place like this is in business in our Oakleaf community. Not safe for our kids at all. Do yourself a favor and look up their dcf violations. They do not consistently run background checks on staff. Enough said."
