"The waitress was nice, polite and attentive. My husband and I got the roast pork with 2 sides (fried plantains and a salad) The roast pork was bland and had little to no seasoning and was cut thick. The plantains were hard (probably over fried). The salad was ok. The Malta India I ordered to drink was nice and cold and helped wash down the food…a second Malta would have helped more. I was offered dessert but I passed on it. I honestly expected more than 2 fried plantains and a bit more roast pork for the $40 we paid but considering the quality of the food we got maybe I should count my blessings. It was our first time there at the recommendation of a friend who ranted and raved about the food. Sadly, we won’t be back."
"They were out of two of the main items on their menu: mofongo and ropa vieja, and didn’t even think of mentioning it until we ordered it (after a very long wait that seemed odd since there was only one other table occupied), there was no explanation, simply: “we don’t have that” Ended up ordering a Cuban that was mediocre at best. The chicken empanada was good, but I’m not sure it was good enough for us to consider returning. We stoped by at 2pm, everything on the menu should be available, if it isn’t, proactively tell customers when taking the order for drinks, not 20 minutes later after they made up their mind."
"This was an excellent establishment it’s where all the locals go it is a very small business people coming and going the food is delicious priced very well nice portions my husband and I ate there for $21"
"We enjoyed our tasty Cuban sandwiches! We didn't know all their sides were going to be so big. One side would have been plenty for us to share."
