"West Miami Montessori has become home to me and my family. When looking for a child care setting, I wanted a place where the teachers were passionate, the school was clean and organized, my child would be challenged, & most importantly that she would be safe. I was referred to WMM by a friend who had her 3 children there. From day one, I saw all my requests in full effect and surpassed all expectations. My daughter was happy and she loved going to school everyday. She attended WMM for 4 years. She is now entering Kindergarten well prepared and with a huge foundation on life skills. I had the option to change my daughter for her VPK year and put her in a program with no tuition but I knew that money does not put a price on everything WMM had already given us. So I decided to leave her there one more year. The director (Emily) is very attentive and would assist/answer any questions I ever had within a 24 hour turn around but most times it was less, like minutes. The directors approach in handling CoVid was well sought out and respectable. I absolutely loved that since day one, masks where at the families choice. My daughter has graduated from the school but asks to visit not only her friends but her teachers as well everyday. I’m so happy that my daughter not only received a great education, but has lifelong friends, and a wonderful memory that she takes with her for the rest of her life. I highly recommend this school to anyone. You are paying for more than just an education."

"I wish I could give this school a zero stars! That’s truly what they deserve! I do not and would not recommend this school to anyone! The director/owner doesn’t know how to run the school and is extremely disorganized. I enrolled my son at this school, filled out and returned all his paper work on 4/12 asked the director/owner if we could send the deposit/fee and Ms. Emily stated that she would put him into the system and then send us the information to pay. When I reached out to her a few months later because we were still waiting on the payment information she wouldn’t pick up the phone. I called the school only to find out that my son wasn’t enrolled. I am still waiting to her back from her to find out why he wasn’t enrolled… Truth be told I will never hear back from her because she hides behind all of her employees. Unfortunately this school is not what it used to be!!!"

"I have searched high and low for the perfect school for my 18 month old son and nothing compares to this school. The teachers and director (Mrs. Emily) are extremely attentive and nurturing. This school encourages their students to be the best they can be. The teachers truly love the children and the children feel at home. I am a full time mom, so I miss out on precious moments with my son, but Mrs. Emily captures those moments for me and I cannot explain how grateful I am for it. This school is EXTREMELY clean. My son comes home clean, happy and I am very impressed on how much he is developing and growing. I have been to so many schools in Miami, Coral Gables, South Miami, the Grove and Pinecrest area, but this school is GOLD. The staff is highly educated and the ratio of kids is where it should be. I cannot express how amazing my experience has been thus far and I only want every parent out there to know that, because I have also experienced terrifying moments at other schools with my son and this school/staff takes away all those fears and welcomes you with open arms."

"I had to switch my kids in the middle of the school year, they went from crying about going to school to running to the door and waiting anxiously to get in. The school is clean, new, and you get a great vibe when you enter. Most importantly the teachers are kind and loving with the kids. What stood out to me the most, and will probably give you a good idea of how they are at WMM is when my son lost his first tooth. He was in the playground and his tooth had fallen on the grass. It was his first tooth to fall out and I had missed it, and now the tooth was gone. (that would have been the case but not on Ms.Emily's watch.) Ms.Emily had stayed outside searching even when the kids had already entered and were performing lessons. I don't know how long it took her to find his tooth but I am eternally grateful she did. She knew how important it was for a parent, since she is one her self and was determined to save us from the heart ache of missing that moment. Another touching moment was coming home to my kids doing yoga and reciting a story in Spanish as they did it. (they speak english predominantly, you have to get called gringos, and chastised by your latino family to understand the significance of this) I have so many more touching moments I could share but I would be here forever. If you want your kids in a loving family feel environment, while they learn and prosper this Montessori school is the way to go. (Ive had my children in two others I'm speaking from experience.)"
