Riviera Bar and Grill

"The Riviera is great casual Florida waterfront dining that is also accessible by boat. It's location is a bit off the beaten path. We went for lunch at 11:30 on a Monday & were seated immediately had prompt service & food was delivered in under 15 minutes. The calimari was the best I've ever eaten, tender with very flavorful marinara. I had the grouper bite sandwich with onion strings, both lightly breaded & tasty. Husband had blackened grouper & fries. Clean, updated coastal casual decor. Placed was packed by 12:30, may need reservations for dinnertime. Absolutely worth the visit. We'll be back!"

"Probably one of the better if not the best place in town to get delicious and fresh seafood dishes for reasonable prices. Service was fantastic, even for how busy they were. Also, I'm a big fan of key lime pie and would definitely recommend getting a slice here! The only real complaint we had was due to other patrons that had brought their alleged "service" Chihuahua to the dockside seating. Every single boat, seagull, or other distraction that he saw caused he to bark up a storm. At one point he even knocked over a chair his owner had tied him up to. I love dogs and have two of my own (Labradors, 90+ lbs each) but even I know there is a time and a place when it's appropriate to bring them, and only if I know they're going to behave themselves. Not knowing if Riviera Bar and Grill is dog friendly or not, from my perspective this couple was taking advantage of the ADA Service Animal policy and had the "service dog" wording all over the chihuahua's leash and harness. Although I didn't inquire with the owner, I've never seen a service animal behave in such an uncontrolled manner. All that being said, my family and I will be back here again... Hopefully next time without dealing with untrained and out of control pets."

"Awesome waterfront restaurant. I had the best fish tacos in Charlotte Co. My wife had the brisket sandwich which was not good. The waitresses said it might be tough but she ordered it anyway. The new owners have done a great job renovating an old place. We will definitely go back but won't order the brisket."
