"Both of my kids had gone to that school and the teachers are awesome. The security system is amazing, I have tried sending someone else to pick up my kids and they did not let them, unless you are in the students contact card and also show your ID they won't give your child away to anyone. The counselors are great. So if your are near that area your best shot will be South Miami Heights Elementary"
"It was once a good school the teaching there is not the same teachers are not there to educate, and to take the time to teach. Its just a paycheck to them. They worry more about a child uniform then his/her learning. I'm so glad this my child last year. The teachers there criticize a child for what he/she doesn't know instead of showing them one on one."
"I went to this school in the 5th grade 1971. It was a wonderful experience. Back then the school was neat and clean. We didn't live far so we were able to ride our bikes. It was great! These days I wouldnt let my grandchildren ride their bikes to the end of the street much less to school and back. Bikes would be stolen during the day anyway. Back in the day it was a great school with great teachers."
"amazing school in 5th grade we get prom dances mega party and graduation and principal rocks. she rewards us with dances and a D.A.R.E. graduation and a mega party at the end of school year in 4th"
"Horrible principal, she doesn't allow parental involvement at all! The school has failed standard state testing not once but twice in a row. Don't let the fact that it's an A school fool you."
