About the Business

Kids In Motion

Kids In Motion is a well-established institution located at 11246 Wiles Road, Coral Springs, Florida, United States. Founded in 1989 by owner Donna Burke, we cater to families in Coral Springs and the surrounding areas, offering preschool, VPK, and Aftercare programs. At Kids In Motion, we believe that children learn best through play and strive to provide a unique and enriching experience for all families.

We are proud to hold the Gold Seal award from the Department of Children and Families, recognizing our commitment to quality care and supervision. Additionally, we are accredited by A.P.P.L.E (Accredited Professional Preschool Learning Environment) and work closely with the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County to ensure high-quality early childhood education programs.

Our VPK program prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten success and beyond, with nutritious meals and snacks provided through the Florida Department of Health Childcare Food Program. Our menu is carefully planned to cater to the preferences of our students, with fresh and flavorful options offered daily.

At Kids In Motion, meal times are seen as a valuable learning opportunity, where children are taught proper hand washing techniques, table manners, and encouraged to explore the colors and tastes of their meals. Our teachers join students during meals to provide guidance and positive reinforcement.

We are currently seeking dynamic and qualified teachers to join our team, with CDA, DCF 45 hours, and VPK endorsement preferred. If you are passionate about early childhood education and are looking for a rewarding career opportunity, Kids In Motion may be the perfect fit for you.

"Please never take your kid here. I went here as a kid and please please take your kid ANYWHERE else. This place made me insecure about my weight, made me think I was stupid because I couldn’t do a front walkover, because I was Hispanic, because I had curly hair, etc. Please parents listen to me, this place is HORRIBLE!! I specifically remember Mrs. Melinda. She was the worse. She would yell at me and call me names and other horrible things. One time she left me in the pool unattended, and I almost drowned. Please do not take your kid here I am BEGGING YOU!! the review below mine is not exaggerating, RUN!! RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!! The only time it was “fun” was when we went to the skating rink, or when the supervisors weren’t there yelling at us and making us feel bad about our selves. ‼️‼️ DO NOT TAKE YOUR KID HERE ‼️‼️"

"Run ! Literally RUN ! Away from this place . If you care about your children run ! NOT A EDUCATIONAL PLACE AT ALL ! They will let your children get abused by other kids and won’t do anything about it and say “they’re just kids “ which in my opinion is unacceptable! This place is a literal cult with all the employees if one doesn’t like your kid they all will treat them bad .The director Malinda is horrible she treats your kid differently off of their educational levels and it’s ridiculous . If your kid is a slow learner they all treat them differently instead of loving each child equally. I walked in one time and overheard the director screaming at the top of her lungs at one of the other parents kid . She didn’t realize I was standing behind her . She tried to blame the kid on why she was screaming and smiled. If that was my child I wouldn’t ever bring her back The after care program is a scam! Please if your a parent who cares about you children Don’t fall for the low price or the things they “offer” I don’t wish this school on any toddler or kid !"

"Hi! My heart brakes every time I come to this place which is once a week for swimming lessons for my kid, one thing I have to say is that the swimming instructors are great. With that said I have to tell parents to please be AWARE where you leave your children, there's no compassion or kindness for the kids here, the teachers are constantly screaming at the children, they're very rough with kids, I know children need discipline but that goes hand in hand with love."
