"Pros: Greeted with a smile and seated right away The server was patient and very friendly Sweet tea was sweetened just right. Sauces were very good, and everything in these sauces was not overpowered. The other ingredients Food....YUM!!! Absolutely spot on Everything was delicious I have had a wonderful experience, and I would definitely return again I had the pulled pork plate with Mac and cheese Baked beans Garlic toast My kudos to everyone on your team Cons: None **update**(02/18/2024) I came back before yesterday and brought my boyfriend here for the first time, and he absolutely loved it. He wants to come back and have lunch again today before we leave Florida. He also said it was the best sweet tea he's ever had. Keep doing it right, Sonny's, and we'll definitely keep returning. (02/19/2024) We returned for our lunch, and Miss Cassidy not only remembered us but what we wanted for our drinks and order. This lady is truly awesome and amazing."

"I haven't been to sonny's in 3 years because I didn't think is was good then and I decided to give it another try it still isn't that great. The ribs are nothing but bone they have very.little meat and the Mac and cheese has no flavor at all just very Blane I won't go back. I love BBQ but this isn't at all worth throwing money away. Life cost to much to do that."

"We love Sonny’s! We do not have one near us but when we spend some time in Florida each year, we take advantage of the opportunity at the end of December to purchase gift cards and get $20 bonus cards per $100 spent. This year, we took guests for dinner and planned to use our $40 bonus cards but were told when we presented them that you could only use one $5 dollar card per visit. This has never happened before and was embarrassing. The wait staff was not pleased to deliver the news and said that we are not the only ones who have complained about this change. It seems that the Haines City area Sonny’s owner has decided this on his own. Are we supposed to make eight separate visits or make eight separate purchases of sandwiches? There was no warning about this and the fine print does not state it either. We hear we can take them to other Sonny’s but should not have to do so. Sonny’s corporate should know that Haines City is pulling a fast one on loyal customers but the website only allows feedback with a receipt, and even then will not allow customers to give feedback if they try to do so twice in one week! I had left good feedback earlier due to some good service we got, but that was before we were turned away with the gift cards.. Another bad idea. Sonny is better than this."

"Just ordered Sonny’s for my New Year’s Eve dinner so that I wouldn’t have to cook. Catered for 15 people and we got enough food to feed 5. I called them at least 6 times! 3 of the 6 someone answered and said the manager was right with us. Waited almost 20 minutes each time and no one ever came to the phone. We spent almost $400 in food to get ripped off. Then to have no one to speak to, to rectify the situation is beyond frustrating. The trays weren’t even half way full. This is a crying shame. Unacceptable to spend this much money and be ripped off on a holiday is unreal. Will not be spending money with them again as good as the food is. Not worth it."

"So sad that a place like this would have really bad food , first I ordered some egg rolls when they got to the table they where still frozen on the inside, after that this piece of plastic in the picture was inside of the COLD pulled pork that got to my table. And after eating at this place Tuesday dec 12 at about 3 pm I got sick. Technically paid $40 something dollars to get sick thanks Sonny’s BBQ I’m never going back."
