With a nod to and integrating historical reference in the aesthetics, the ambience, menu and service are hard to beat. Kayla, our server was absolutely lovely. Definitely and always a vibe! "Very fabulous experience. Lots of lavish imagery in this small space with beautiful food that also tastes great. It is rare that I love everything on a menu. Even more rare that the food comes out and I don’t want to send it back. But I ate everything I ordered and enjoyed it. It was a great experience and I am so glad I came. My server Kayla gave me the good insight on what to order bc I wanted everything and was so overwhelmed with the menu choices."

"Kayla was UH-MAZING! The food was fabulous, the service was very good, and everything Kayla recommended was so good! We had ox tails, lamb chops, and the sweet potato cornbread. The drinks was so good and the mimosa tree was gorgeous! I would recommend this place for any meal. You will not be disappointed!"

"I went to brunch with my husband. Everything was very tasty . The hostess was very polite and friendly, we were able to secure a reservation on the way there. I personally didn’t like the eggs, I love pepper there wasn’t any on the table, and I didn’t bother to ask for any. Drinks were crafted to perfection. The sweet potato pancakes and grits were top tier. 10 out of 10 will definitely come back again!!!"

"My wife and I went to Madame Fortune on a Saturday afternoon. While we did not have a reservation, they were still able to accommodate us. I would recommend if you plan to visit, that you make a reservation. When you enter the restaurant through the secret door, the ambience was very nice, and I felt like it was well decorated. I would describe the dining room as cozy, because there were not many tables, which is another reason to make a reservation. We ordered the white wine sangria. My wife ordered the Lamb Chops and I had the Sweet Potato Pancakes and Fried Chicken. We always sample each others food and we both thought each others meals were delicious. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection and the fried chicken was crisp, juicy and well seasoned. I didn't give five stars because the music (which added to the vibe) was pretty loud. It was to the point where we couldn't hear each other across the table and had a hard time hearing our waiter. The only other ding on the rating was our server forgetting to get our drinks from the bar. He was apologetic and they were worth the wait. We would definitely eat here again."
