"This place is all about the food. With a background in Cajun cooking, I am always on the lookout for new places to try. Simplistic interior, but the food is top notch. A past quest of mine was to visit every place I could in New Orleans in search of the best oysters. This has continued in each city I visit. First, the oysters here are among the best I have had! The food selection is pretty diverse. Featuring the seafood boil style. there are many options. These even include a boil with seasoning on the side, those who like traditional crab legs. The drink selection is nice. The food options are great! I ordered a boil D with medium Cajun seasoning. This was a normal amount of heat for Cajun dishes. But, if yiu like the Cajun flavor, there are many levels of heat to pick from. Good value with a nice amount of food. Service.... We were sat at a table without waiting. Jennifer was perfect. She told us how the menu worked and had our drinks out in minutes. The oysters and hush puppies came out quickly, with perfect timing before the main dishes. Not once, did we have to wait for her. She made sure everything went like clockwork. A true gem! Great food, value and service! We will be back."

"Decided to have lunch at Waves for the first time. The restaurant and restrooms are very clean. The atmosphere was very nice. The decorations ate very subtle. The food was really good. Best fresh crab Rangoon I have ever eaten. Unfortunately the service was a little slow. Our waiter, who is very nice and courteous, was not only serving the people dining, he was also helping in the kitchen, and it seemed he was also tending bar. All-in-all it is a nice seafood restaurant."
