Zen Noodle Bar Tampa

"Zen Noodle in Tampa offers delicious ramen dishes with an Asian fusion flair. On a recent visit, I tried two of their signature ramens - the Zen Ramen and the Bulgogi Ramen. The Zen Ramen features a rich, umami miso broth with ramen noodles, marinated egg, protein, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, seaweed, ginger, scallions, and sesame seeds. It's a classic Japanese-style ramen done right. I also added kimchi for $2 extra, bringing the total for this dish to $18. The Bulgogi Ramen puts a Korean twist on the traditional ramen. It starts with the same flavorful broth but is topped with bulgogi - marinated ribeye steak cooked Korean bbq style. The sweet and savory bulgogi pairs perfectly with the ramen noodles and broth. I also added kimchi to this dish, making the total $21. Both ramens were packed with complex flavors in the broth and high quality, fresh ingredients on top. Zen Noodle does an excellent job combining Japanese and Korean flavors in their unique ramen creations. It's a great spot for ramen lovers looking to expand their horizons beyond the standard tonkotsu and shoyu styles. I'll definitely be back to try more of their innovative East Asian noodle dishes."

"ZEN Noodle Bar in Temple Terrace, FL provided an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The spicy Korean chicken wings and pork belly bao buns set the stage for a tantalizing meal. The Drunken Noodle with broad rice noodles and the Bulgogi Korean-Japanese Beef Ramen, featuring specialty bulgogi-marinated ribeye, added a delightful fusion of flavors. For dessert, the sesame balls, fried dough stuffed with red bean paste, were a sweet delight drizzled with condensed milk. To accompany our meal, we enjoyed TARO tea. Everything was served with impeccable attention by the manager, Chloe, and our server Iris. Their exceptional service mirrored the quality of the food ( Outstanding). The cozy atmosphere and overall ambience elevated the dining experience. ZEN Noodle Bar, with its pan-Asian cuisine, should undoubtedly be at the top of your go-to list for a memorable culinary journey."

"OMG! Best Asian food I've had in a long time. Went there for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with food and service. The Bao buns were perfect! The shrimp on the noodle nest was amazing. Crispy noodles that softened with the shrimp sauce. Incredible taste! The Com teriyaki chicken plate was the perfect portion. Adding the egg on top of the chicken and rice brought the dish to another level! The Spicy Basil fried rice was perfect for sharing and well seasoned."

"Went to lunch and had the Chicken wings with sweet chili sauce. For the main meals we had The Bulgogi Ramen Soup and The Pork Belly Ramen Soup. All of it was good but if you want it spicy ask for a side of chili oil. The inside was clean and they only had one waitress."

"First time going in and loved this place. It was early in the day so there weren’t many people, but a decent amount of seating to accommodate, and what you’d expect in a plaza business. Staff were great and the food was delicious. The Shrimp Summer Rolls, which were great. They were everything you’d expect, nothing more, nothing less; peanut sauce was thicker than most (ketchup consistency) but preferred by me. Other places I’ve been to it tends to be on the thinner side (watered down?). Bánh mì with roasted pork was flavorful, the bread was the best though. It had a nice crisp on the outside and slightly soft center; I think it was perfect. I’ve added this place to my list of returns, especially to try the noodles and bao buns!"
