"As someone that’s Mexican and from Texas, I am very critical when it comes to Mexican food. I grew up eating actual authentic Mexican food and I can say this place is just okay. The barbacoa tasted dry despite being in juices. You have to pay for chips and salsa. In Texas they come complimentary with your meal at almost all Mexican restaurants. The enchiladas are not enchiladas. Just corn tortillas smashed together with cheese with the sauce and meat thrown on top. They don’t even have all the traditional meats like lengua, tripa, cabeza or chicharron. They only serve menudo on weekends. The waitresses were very friendly which is probably the only positive thing on here. I may go back with others just to eat but it’s not a go to place."

"Casa Mexicana offered a delightful dining experience. The guacamole was both fresh and bursting with flavor, while the Mexican Seafood Soup, with its generous portions of shrimp, mussels, and squid, was truly outstanding. Although the service was a bit slow, it was understandable given their lunchtime rush, and it didn't affect my overall satisfaction."

"Probably the most authentic Mexican restaurant in the Tampa Bay area. Nothings fancy, a basic setting with a family friendly feel. The menu has everything you would expect, and the food came out delicious. the salsa was very good, and the sizzling fajitas sealed the deal. The quesadillas were a bit too fatty but still delicious. The restaurant also carries all kinds of Mexican sodas as well as traditional drinks like horchata. I would’ve given it a deserved five star rating, but the service was slow, and they serve the fajitas with only three tortillas, and you have to wait for extra tortillas to be made on the spot, which is at least a five minute wait. I wish they start serving the fajita platters with five tortillas instead. Overall I recommend this place and we’ll definitely come back for more soon!"

"Nope, nope, nope! This is definitely not for me. I order an enchilada plate and all I got was soggy corn tortillas folded in half literally with nothing inside, and watery sauce on top, with a few bits of meat on it. Smh. I read good reviews on the food being authentic but In my opinion it's is not authentic Hispanic food. No way it can be! I had way better at other places and never received an enchilada plate like this. Guess everyone's taste buds are truly different but this ain't it. Total waste of money and very disappointed."
