Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

"French Toast at CB has become the poster item of the “shrink-flation” term coined by Biden, if you catched his big football game ad on tv. Not sure what’s happened to this once known to be a fine establishment of good ol’ home cooking but my most recent visit and lack of attentiveness from the server a has made my desire to return, VERY UNLIKELY. Highly disappointed not mainly from the server but the portion size in which we all came used to for the years of frequent visits. This needs to be brought to the attention of Mr. and or Mrs. Cracker Barrel. SMH :("

"Food was hot and fresh. Service was great. Was not to busy or crowded. The store side was clean and very well organized probably better than must. They had sections themes that made with easier for you find the things you want and need. Bathrooms were clean so."

"This was the worst meal of my life. The only good thing I can say about it, was that it probably taste better than dog food, because my dog enjoyed it more than me. The beef was very fatty and cold, and the potatoes had no flavor. Not worth the $25 bucks I spent. Never coming back."

"Wonderful food at a reasonable price. Atmosphere is exceptional, especially when you are sitting you elders, they remember everything on the walls. The gift shop isn't outrageous, especially for some of the unique things you find, however the toys are very overpriced. NEVER had a bad experience with a server. And thank you for letting the elder in our group sit in front of the fire. Although she couldn't see it, it's warmth brought the image clearly into mind."

"It started with check in .... after a 15 min wait on a 10 min estimated time I went to che k on our status for 2 . Go figure it was ready WITHOUT said txt . After being seated with just menus I had to go ask for our server. I was told he had a tablet issue!! 20 min ??!! No introduction? No hey im having system issues?? No water!? ..the drinks came watered down sweat tea was nothing to right home about same for the Arnoldpalmer that looked like water... next our food came ... well my companions did complete mine with just my eggs and bacon no French toast..... I had to ask for my complete meal ..... that alone took a minute as im sure it had to cooked. Then I got it .... one the quality of the food has gone away ..... it looked like sandwich bread... it was burnt on one side and on some nothing was done. I then went to the hostess stand again this time to ask for a manager that never came ... after another 15 min our server asked did we need anything... yes a manager.... a manager quickly came and with much trained compassion listened to our issues and comped our meals .... thats why I gave it 2 stars .... not the quality I expected or remembered."
