"One of the few eateries open Monday lunch time on the island, we gave it a go. My first impression was underwhelming because of the smell of something burnt but who among us has not burned a food item or two during a meal prep? We boldly ordered a Cuban and a burger. Both were very good and quite flavorful! The service was straightforward and capable and the prices were reasonable in our current inflationary situation. They had water available at no cost and easily available. The seats outside were a bit narrow or maybe our posteriors were too wide not sure which. I would definitely go again and give another menu item I try."

"While I know the day after gasparilla is probably one of the busier days, the person working the counter today had a terrible attitude. I get explaining over & over to people coming in that half the menu is unavailable but as a customer we don’t know that, and he was downright rude for every question asked about how I wanted my sandwich. Every other experience here has been great which is why I’ll still give it 4 stars."
"This joint serves up the best BLT in town. No joke, I dream about that crunch! Plus, it's got this fantastic local vibe going on. You can take things to go, eat inside or out. Word of advice: their bagels sell out quick, so if you can, roll in early. I'm telling you, this place is my go-to every time I swing by Davis Island. It's a must!"
