Shake Pit

"We come here normally every year when we're in the area and have always loved their burgers and desserts. Unfortunately this visit wasn't as good. Got the double cheeseburger and although the bun was excellent and very soft and doughy, the patties were not good. Very dry and not juicy at all, and didn't really taste fresh like they have done previously. Got a milkshake as well which was very good. Big, thick and creamy. I chose peach, pineapple and banana and there was plenty of fruit in it. Will return for milkshakes in the future but not the burgers unfortunately. Far too high a price to pay for a dry burger when there are so many other great burger options around the area."

"This place is cash only, so be ready for that. If not, they do have an ATM on-site. My daughter and I came here for lunch. We really enjoyed everything we got. It is all made to order and fresh."

"Food was expensive and not worth the price at all. The picture in the food plus a large root beer float and a medium milkshake all costed a total of $48 dollars. The fries were bland and soggy tasted store bought fries do not come with the purchase of a sandwich 1/10. There is no such thing a combo there. The mozzarella sticks were stiff and cheese tasted like rubber. Plus the marinara they paired it with tasted rotten 2.5/10. Onion rings were pretty good tasted beer battered and fresh still not the best 7/10. Double burger was alright I’ve had better burgers from Checkers, bun was super soggy 6/10. Chicken sandwich was super bland and dry. Tasted as well as a cafeteria chicken sandwich like a oven baked store bought chicken patty 4/10. Root beer float was pretty good but there’s only so many steps to make a root beer float. Ice cream in the float was really good not worth the price but taste alone 8/10. Marshmallow milkshake was also good a bit too thick to drink through the straw and awfully sweet but 6/10. It’s a cute spot to look at but that’s pretty much it has a nice vibe to it only to be shattered by the prices if you want to try the spot out I highly recommend only the sweets even then those feel a little pricey. The place is cash only but I’m not sure what your paying for if the food is below average and their isn’t really any experience to be had. You can easily get better food for a better price anywhere else. I would probably never come here again unless for maybe an occasional sweet. If you want a better experience from a similar establishment Shake Station on 301 in Palmetto will be worth more your time."

"After years of crushing Peanut-butter Chocolate malts, I recon it’s time we leave a review. As much as I’d like to sling 5 stars their way, I can’t do it. The first three items my wife ordered were each met with a prompt and harsh “can’t make that”. No apology, no explanation, but the a teen weave with a seeming bad attitude. Nevertheless, we ended up with items they could make, so that’s a plus. Food and shakes all came out at different times, but they were all pretty good. It’s cash only, so be prepared. All in all, was a good evening."
