"I love The Paddywagon and usually have a blast there. The drinks are awesome, the vibe is great, and it's been our spot for a weekly chill-out with my partner. But this Christmas Eve was a bummer. Forgot my ID, got turned away - fair enough. Then I hustled back with a new Lyft ride but got stopped again. This time, the guard didn’t dig my U.S. issued Mexican ID card. Apparently, they wanted something else or a passport. But seriously, who carries a passport for a pub hangout? It sucked not being able to join the Christmas vibe, but hey, not letting it ruin my night. Still, it was a letdown from my usual good times there. Hope they rethink their ID rules 'cause it's a buzzkill for regulars like me. Hoping for better luck next time. Happy New Year to The Paddywagon crew - hoping for smoother hangs ahead!"
