"If you want the American fried foods with a good view this place is for you. The waiter is very attentive. He knows how to give great service. Which is one of the good qualities in giving wonderful service for the customer. I would say this restaurant is a destination because it's quite far out there."

"This place has been on my list for months. Finally got the chance to try it out on Saturday. As stated on their google page, no reservations taken. We went around 3:30 and there was no wait so we got seated right away. We were seated right by the water. The birds were a bit of a distraction, flying too close to you. However, I loved the atmosphere. The water view is gorgeous. The live music, the greenery, the lights, it was as expected, a wonderful place to enjoy our family lunch at. As for the food, it was good. The service was efficient and our server was kind. I will definitely come back, a little later than 3:30 though just so we won’t wait hours to see the sunset."

"This is a very nice restaurant with a great view of the bay. The food was good and the service was just as nice. I had the Jackfruit tacos, and they had plenty of flavor. My server was very attentive and nice. The food was prepared rather quickly. The outdoor area provides a great view of the bay while enjoying your meal. However, be on the lookout for the foul in the air. They swoop in like you are not there and can startle you. They are harmless (from what I observed), but they will not hesitate to land on your table. There are two bars; one for inside service and one on the patio. If you need toes in the sand, well, you can dine a little closer to the water. There is a nice outdoor relaxation area as well. I was very impressed with the sea shells in the place of gravel at the relaxation area. I plan to return for a personal trip with my husband so we can tour and enjoy more of the area."

"First time visiting Salt Shack and I wasn’t disappointed! Started with the calamari which had a really delicious cocktail sauce with it. I had the fish sandwich and my partner had the grouper tacos both of which were delicious. Definitely a spot to visit again not only for the food but for the wonderful atmosphere right of the water. Especially during good weather days!"
