The Drunken Taco

"We found this place by accident wanting late night Mexican food near St. Pete. It is in the heart of Gulfport. We went late on. Tuesday night. There is happy hour all day, daily specials and everything after 10pm is half price! The food was AMAZING! The house margaritas left a little to be desired. I don't normally order chicken wings at a Mexican restaurant, but so many people at the tables around us were eating them and they looked soooo good, I had to order them! The best wings I have ever had! The hot was perfect! The sauce is spicy but not burn my mouth hot. It typically annoys me if I have to pay for chips and salsa, but the large sizes (and they were big bowls filled up!) Was worth it. The queso was soooo good! The salsa was pretty good, the guac didn't seem house made. But it came with two HUGE trays of chips and the dip trio for under $13 (half price - normally $25). We will definitely be back!"

"So glad we stopped in here! A girlfriend & I popped in for some after work margaritas & shared some beyond nachos too. She got a classic marg & I got a berry with sugar rim, 2-for-1 all the time, what!?!? Our bartenders Courtney & Brandan were so friendly & made delicious cocktails to set the night right. Nachos were biggg & really tasty. I really liked the atmosphere & decor too, good vibes! We'll definitely be back!"

"Great vibe: 50 percent off after 10 pm, and you get a buy one get one free margarita, so you can’t lose it’s $7 for two drinks. The food seemed to look ok, the beans, not so much with the rice. I look forward to returning and trying a different meal for a better review."

"A high end Tequila spot. A sprawling Tex-Mex restaurant in a nice spot in Gulfport. Pricey though and we're glad we tried it on their "Taco Tuesday" because we could get 3 tacos for less than $10. Normally you get 2 with black bean covered rice for $13 to $14. I should have been more diligent in pricing on the 2 for 1 Margaritas. I ordered a spicy skinny Margarita. One was $13.95 and I was charged an extra dollar for ONE slice of jalapeno. So $15 for 1 spicy margarita and 1 coconut margarita. The atmosphere is great! Service was good but we were never brought cilantro creama on the side of our street corn. We asked if we could get just rice, no black beans and were told no problem but it came with beans anyway. Food came out fast. As far as Tacos go; we tried 3 different tacos but they all tasted about the same We enjoyed our evening; however, it's upscale so even with a Happy Hour all day and Specials every day, know going in it's going to be pricey. If you're a Tequila connoisseur this is the place for you!!"
