"Is brisket supposed to be gray? And dry? So dry they bring a tiny cup of juice/gravy/drippings out with it. Now ribs, it's been a while since I've had to chew meat off the bone. It took effort to pull the bones apart since the silver skin was left on the rack. The Mac and cheese was poorly prepared and cold. I found a ball of elbows sans sauce in the barely room temperature bowl. The silver skin lining of the meal was the okra. Not the traditional corn meal breading, it appeared to be battered, and could be the best fried okra I've ever had."

"First time trying this place, as we're in town just for a week. Portions are filling, very tasty entree and side options, Kelly our server was amazing! We'd be regulars if we were local. It was very good!! I'd recommend the Mac and Cheese ball appetizer, I got the spare rib/brisket combo with potato salad and baked beans. Potato salad is different than what you'd expect, but it's very good."

"Great locally owned BBQ place with a lot of entree choices! We sat outside and it was a pleasant area. We were a little surprised that they only have 2 BBQ sauces to choose from, but we mixed them together and it was really good. The side dishes were made fresh and had lots of flavor. We will be back!"

"Pulled into the parking lot to see them roasting a pig over an open fire out front. Place smelled so good. Very down how feel. Staff was friendly and attentive. I so wanted the BBQ, but the wife was set on brisket. Which was good but not pink enough for me nor has a crust on it. Which most places do not, that is why I wanted the BBQ. But the brisket was good. The cheese grits were a hit for sure super yummy. Will be back for sure without the wife to try that BBQ."

"This place is awesome! The smokers are right beside the outdoor dining and the smell is heavenly. They also have indoor dining but who can resist that smoker smell? The food is so good! Got the half rack of spare ribs and they melted right off the bone. The collard greens are the best I have ever had. The mashed sweet potatoes are great as well as the beans. You cannot go wrong with this place!!"
